The graphics team really has impressed me quite a lot, the simplicity of the design is what sells it well.
"If you are working on something really exciting that really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you" and that is exactly what I see here. This is a marvelous misunderstood piece of art. I bow my head to the genius maestro behind the music. Flawless, wouldn't change a thing.

@sensei Thank you so much. The graphics team consists of one person, and my friend who designed the music was happy to see this.

Love the game!, its got a lot of nice game mechanics and really ties you down.
My only "Problem" with it is the lack of variation, after awhile it gets repetitive, but for 72 hours of fuckin rocks!

I didn't quite get the hydra's mechanics but the game plays smoothly, I liked it :)

It was really hard to move around the boss even if you did not shoot him a single time.
The fact that monsters can spawn under you and go through plateforms was a little disturbing (I think it happen only when the monster directly spawn inside a plateform). The visual was minimalist but very effective!

@daepso Yeah, I know it’s a bit annoying. The fact that it’s hard to move around the boss was unintended, but ended up making it a nice challenge to use your 3 jumps and the terrain to get over him. As for enemies not spawning in the platform, I could make them visible while going up through the platform, but I don’t know how I can stop them spawning in or under a platform. But thanks for the feedback

@streetgeek Whoa! Language bro, I'm 13! But thanks, the game was originally going to have one map, but I added another 2, and didn't have time for my friend to write any more music. I do agree though, the combat loop can get a bit repetitive. Thanks for playing it

A neat little game, it felt very claustrophobic at times with the arenas being so small. I wish the game wouldn't kill you if you went off to the side. I don't see the theme applying too much but other than that it is a pretty cool result for a gamejam. The gloomy look and the music really make it come together.

@andidebob I made it follow the theme by the aim of the game being keeping the Hydra Circle alive. And thank you for mentioning the music!

Hey @acidmanrpgz, I played your game and really liked it! The concept is really interesting and the way you fitted into the theme is super original, keeping your soul enemy alive in ordered to win! About winning, I didn't manage to win any level, I don't know if I'm just bad and don't know how to play but the Hydra circle was following me and I didn't have anywhere to go, so that's unfortunate.

It's a really good game, great job! :)

BTW I really liked the soundtrack!

the hydra idea is interesting but it doesn't seem like there is much one can do once the hydra is on the floor in the smaller stages. it would've been interesting if the hydra maybe go knocked back from being hit then shooting the hydra would not just be a penalty but a strategic option. it was also quite hard to be sure of hitting an enemy, would've been great it they maybe made a sound and or flashed white. there's improvements to be made but it's a good start!
