Driven Round the Loop by JoeShanahan
The residents of Loopton are not a happy bunch. The most popular activity for them is to file complaints about the awful road infrastructure. But who can blame them? All of the roads are closed loops, and without proper guidance, they're stuck going round and round forever!
This is where you come in! By placing directional arrows on roads, you can get cars, bikes, pedestrians, or even busses to swap from one loop to another. Be careful not to cause any crashes!
(unless crashes are what's being requested, of course  )

We made this game in 72 hours including the artwork, music, and sound effects.

My favorite so far, great work !
There are several inconsistencies with the requirements for the petitions for sure hahah. There's a level with a bus and a bike, and one solution is to simply crash the bike into the bus and then solve it with the bus only. But we felt like if the inconsistency was fun (or at least funny) then we could leave it in.
We absolutely wanted to put in a way to show you the numbers at the start of the level, just like with the zones, but we ran out of time before implementing it.
As for the final level? You have to swap cyclists from one loop to another until they go over 1-2-3-4 in the right order. Once you've got that down, you send the one going over 1 to 5 after the 1 has been triggered. It's kinda hard to explain, so I made a quick video: https://youtu.be/fafnM3uuiGs
Anyway, the amount of level design that has gone into this and how each level has a unique story, and how it all fits into this narrative of helping citizens with their troubles is very impressive for a jam game, great work! And the music really helped immerse me in the role.
I also like how you really only need to solve the issues in the petitions, any other unrelated disaster caused by that goal is irrelevant. Almost reminds me of how things work in the real world sometimes... :joy:
Don't know who did what, but cheers to the one who came up with the brilliant idea, cheers to the one who made the music and sound effects, cheers to the one who made the 3D models, cheers to the one who wrote the hilarious texts! Everything in this game is perfect!
the graphics also looked nice and the explosions and dismembered bicyclists were kinda funny xD
well done ^^
I have to admit that I struggled way too long with the 2nd level, where I did not immediately notice that there was an outer track :face_palm:
Love the explosion. Overall, it's simple and well implemented, quite flawless. I liked it!
I wasn't able to solve all the puzzles, but I'll put that down to my own brainpower, and not any issues with the puzzles themselves. Good job, especially with devising such tough puzzles!
