I really like ideas that play with calendar aspects. Your game reminded me of https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/42\/taskmaster-2000 which also has that kind of mechanic. The game was a bit hard to figure out what the flow was, but it was playable regardless so I just kept moving forward.","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Daniel Michaeloudis","author_uid":"1121601","time":"2020-04-23T18:28:59Z","epoch":1587666539,"modified":1587666539,"text":"Nice game. To that matter @arcus do you mean shaders? cause i don't know how to apply those in 2D. if iths about shading the pixelart, i couldnt figure out how for the most part, 8x16 is a small canvas\n\n@peachtreeoath omg you're right. thou i miss my snapping mechanic, i would have loved to get into as much detail as taskmaster. I hope my game wasn't to hard to figure out. I hoped after one session one get's the gist and after 4 what the players want.\n\n@niklasriewald you might be right about that, especially the ranger and rogue should be hard to figure out. And the fact that in aftermath the way you handle rewards and killing both affect the players makes it to hard, maybe.","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"benjamin nielsen","author_uid":1193797,"time":"2020-05-12T03:45:24Z","epoch":1589255124,"modified":1589255124,"text":"I am upset at how much I enjoyed the scheduling mechanic.","likes":0,"format":"md"}],"format":"md","images":["ld46\/195564-395d2c6b9b36894659f2d3ab28e3ee25.png"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/g3glusqfj9cjtor\/Keep%20the%20Game%20running.zip?dl=0","text":"Youtube"},{"url":"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/tw2v4n8wlzoar5l\/Keep%20the%20Game%20running%20-%20Source%20Code.zip?dl=0","text":"Youtube"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"59324","g_author":"1195563","g_event":"LD46","g_eventkey":"77","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"270438","g_title":"Keep the Game running","g_status":"PVT1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"9","g_site2_node_id":"195564","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"195564","n_urlkey":"270438","n_parent":"176557","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/46\/keep-the-game-running","n_slug":"keep-the-game-running","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"jam","n_author":"195563","n_created":"1587194049","n_modified":"1587432732","n_version":"606425","n_status":"COMMIT"},"node":{"id":195564,"parent":176557,"superparent":9,"author":195563,"type":"item","subtype":"game","subsubtype":"jam","published":"2020-04-21T01:32:12Z","created":"2020-04-18T07:14:09Z","modified":"2020-04-21T01:32:12Z","version":606425,"slug":"keep-the-game-running","name":"Keep the Game running","body":"Keeping Animals or Plants alive is easy.
