Great take on the theme ! It kind of felt like a tower defense game where you can actually move. Also, awesome production values (theses graphics !)

Pluses :
- Simple and rewarding gameplay. Not being able to move freely was disorientating at first, but I think it was an excellent choice
- Fun upgrades
- Good difficulty curve, it is actually possible to see a lot of the game on the first try.
- The graphics and the sinking animation <3

Possible improvements :
- Maybe add a (one-use) alternative to the cannon in early-game to prevent the player from dying early

All in all, excellent game ! One of the best I have rated so far.

Very cool game. Certainly fits the theme, and it's very unique on the graphic side too!

Jeez, this is gold.
I'm leaving this comment and then I'm going to play it again x) !
The gameplay is awesome, and it's really nicely done and polished.
The theme is respected, the art (animation and audio) is perfect, the mechanics are simple yet fun and addictive.
Well done !

Really good game, I played it a few times. A bit hard and takes a while to start building a nice raft and I was a bit confused in the beggining (I thought I could swim) but other that those things this game is amazing. Great art and fun / addicting gameplay. Good job!

![Ahoy! by tiptoe - Mozilla Firefox 10_8_2019 1_06_32 PM.png](///raw/ae3/72/z/28de2.png)

It quit turning and spawning mines, so I built a funnel.

It's a great game, I thought it was a little hard until it stopped working right. Visuals are amazing, great concept!

This is amazing! Really love the art. No real complaints for it being made in such a short time span.

I really enjoyed the graphics and the whole feel and vibe of this game. Though I felt it very difficult to progress further into a larger raft before enemies would come destroy it.

This is an incredible game, I think it's one of the best I've seen so far. It looks amazing and plays really well. I wish I had a rudder or something.

The graphics are what drew me in and made me want to play. The art style felt cohesive and everything fit in the world that you built. I thought the little leaf on your character was funny. The game was also engaging and fun, I just wish there was some sort of win state (unless im missing something). Even without a defined end the game was fun and relaxing to play. Great Work!

Nice game!
Also a super current topic in this great-garbage-patch era.

It's actually both unusual and interesting not being able to move the character but having to wait for the garbage to come in your area.

I had a lot of fun with this one. The concept is great but the execution is what makes it amazing. The art style is gorgeous and the game plays well ! Great entry :)

This was great.

As others have said, it's got a really nice atmosphere and a solid visual style.

I most enjoyed building my craft and seeing it become it's own beast over time.

Very impressive! Super professional work, everything is on point!
There were a few pathfinding bugs that were a bit annoying- when trying to build some things the character ended up walking into the water, and if he was in the water when the thing was done building, he'd drown and I'd lose the whole ship.

Still though, it was very fun to play, and I appreciated that starting over was never too much effort, since you're immediately put back how you started.
The cannons were also sort of unclear to me, I couldn't work out what their range was exactly I think? I ended up getting blindsided by a random cannon raft my first runthrough, and subsequent playthroughs when I'd set up cannons in response to mine alerts I ended up getting mine'd anyways.

Really though, even that wasn't a big deal, I was never too frustrated, and that's what kept me going to build a better more defensive raft.

Still though, this is really awesome work, and already worth selling as it is- I really hope you guys expand on this game and release it!

Really solid entry, fit the theme well and had some really innovative game mechanics! Probably the game i spent the most time playing out of any of the game jams!

Could really see this becoming a full fledged title if you add more progression!

This is such a fun little game, makes me think of a simplified raft simulator. As polished as this is, I could actually see it competing well on the mobile market.

This is a super addicting and fun game! The feeling of constantly having to repair is balanced with the feeling of being able to expand easily. Feels rewarding

Love it. Gret visuals and gameplay. It feels really polished for a game that has been made in a single weekend. Great work!

Wowee this game runs buttery smooth on WebGL despite being a 3D game, nicely done!

I love the slow ramp-up of this game, and the slow learning about the way all of the mechanics interact. The way hazards destroy parts of your raft and how cannonballs can be blocked by other fixtures you have set up...it all felt very natural. All in all this is a super well-polished game, nice job!

Fun idea and a great execution! I liked the visuals a lot. The only issue for me is that it felt a bit slow, sometimes you feel like you don't have much to do, because everything is automatic.

About a year ago, my friends and I had an idea about a game about building a raft of garbage. Your game looks something like that and it's so great! Because we never used our idea.
I wonder how you managed to make it in such a short time! It looks and sounds amazing. I quickly realized that there's not much to do, but everything works as it should (in my opinion). The only problem for me is the inability to destroy buildings or move them (but I understand that this is a lot of extra work). I also thought there was a little bit of balance missing, but for jam everything is done very well. Great entry!

Really nice take on the theme. The building mechanics work really well and the graphics are nice, clean, and cute. Sounds worked really well too. I like the introduction of enemy boats. I wasn't sure if there was more content after encountering the boats, a played for a good while.

Excellent entry! My only complaint is that the game often breaks after playing for a while, forcing you to restart. It would also be cool if you added multiplayer to this! The interaction with other players might be limited, but it would be cool to see other players' raft designs and pit yours against them.
