Really well done game. Really liked the aesthetics with the 2.5D graphics and the music was really well done.

Overall well done, It felt like the platforming difficulty ramped up a little too quick. I would have loved some more in air control of the character!

I really liked the graphics, audio, and the gameplay, but the jump key wasn't very responsive and the camera followed the player too slowly making it hard to see where you were falling. Other than that great game!

It reminds me of the old C64 game Nebulus. Liked the idea, graphic and music. What program do you use for making the music? Without save points I wouldn't have played it for as long as I did :D Very nice execution

@incd021 it was in fact inspired by it ^^
For the music I used Mixcraft studio (wich I saw on steam yesterday with a 75% discount O_O)
Thanks for your comment!

The controls and camera movement felt really smooth. The gameplay is fun, but there were a couple of hard-to-do jumps.

The music reminds me of old genesis games so that's a plus for me, The length was really good and the controls were great. My favorite thing is the 2d 3d style that's the best. Good Job.

Very unique design and camera placement. Sometimes there were some bugs with grey screen but moving fixed it. Overall very good game!

Fun game and good use of the theme. Music and graphics were great. Only comments would be to make the camera track the player quicker and to have the blocks that drop respawn.

This was a ton of fun! I loved the clean art style (I just finished Paper Mario this evening) and the controls were tight, which is important for a game like this.

The only comment I have is what some others have said. The camera worked great going up, but every time I had to go back down I was making leaps of faith into enemies and just hoping that I didn't die. I only died 3 times making it to the top and 2 of them were because of this.

Music and the length were perfect. You should be very proud of this!

The ending made me laugh.

This game is beautiful! Is the 2d projection onto the cylinder a shader? (havent delved into the source code yet). I cannot wait to tinker around and see how this was made. Thank you for a lovely game!

@seth-tal It is indeed. Specifically a vertex displacement shader that pushes the vertex forward in a parabola shape (from the look of the perspective camera that's what makes it look like a cilinder).
Thanks for your nice words! I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^

One of the best game of this LD. The music is super cool, the graphism are really great, the gameplay works super well. Loved it. The only things that I'll change would be making the camera go down faster and making the falling platform stay a bit longer, but other than that, I loved it. Also, the ending was very unexpected (to me she looked like a rocket so I thought "ah ! Classic Spyro-style boss, I'll go around and fire rockets at him"), which confused me for a bit, but it was really funny.

Really cool tower effect and I like the use of stacked sprites to create 3D Geometry.

Difficulty ramp was a bit crazy and could have done with resetting trhe falling blocks, but it was very fun.

Great entry.

Nice game, but besides the rotating effect it felt like a simple platformer. It would've been cool if it made use of the fact that you walk around the castle like that. To be able to interact with things on the lower stairs to influence what happens on higher levels would be an interesting mechanic.

I like the boss fight, and the ending sequence. All by all good job!

Really like the aesthetics and the music! No complaints that others haven't already mentioned, except maybe it would be nice indication of health - I didn't know if I was being damaged by the enemies or not until I died to one. All around pretty smooth and chill platforming, though, great compo entry!

Amazing game! My only complaint is what others have said as well. The camera following you down is a bit too slow. It turns into a leap of faith if you can't see where you're going. Another mild annoyence was the fact that the character made the jump sound on every single jump. I think every other or even every third jump would've been enough. Other than that great game though!

Ok! so:

· Please add a landing SFX I need it for feedback specially on level 2 first turn around (from right to left as you don't fall after jumping cause it's super high, it's hard to know when to jump).

· I LOVED the fact that enemies don't harm you but make you bounce. Cheers on that one. Wait. They do harm you laterally, I had just jumped on their head.

· Jump was overall slow and floaty, I would rather that it either moves faster or is regulable in height while pressing. It is the core mechanic and it would be worth the polish.

· The music albeit a bit repetitive set an amazing mood :)

· And most important of all: The camera. I believe it should follow the character way faster (if not 1:1) when falling down. I died on the 4th level because I had to jump into the unknown (and landed just at the side of an enemy bobomb)
