Death Day by Nekopi
A man comes to a remote cabin in the woods to fix it up for his family. However, there is a new monstrous resident which drags him into a sadistic loop of death. The only way to break the cycle is to use everything you can find to defeat the beast. But time is of the essence, while you are stuck in a timeloop of death, real world time passes. Will you slay the monster or will your family arrive and become his next victims?

I would recommend to get rid of the invisible walls, but that's just a minor point of comment
my only issue really was the collision detection, sometimes the movement of the playes was a bit clumsy and it took a while until i got through a door, or the moment i used water on the hole i dug the game just reset and left me confused.
but other than that great job!
there is a bug where all object are duplicated :/ so it is hard to get the content of them
The area of effect of the water trap seems too big to me and I killed myself like three time while walking around it  I think I also caught a bug. After I killed the spider with the trap, the game didn't really end. So I went to the spider (thinking that maybe I have to examine the corpse or something). I examined it and my character commented on it like it was a tank with gas, not a spider. And suddenly, the game just reset. But not fully. Everything sort of went back to the beginning but there was no shovel to be found and the generator was on fire. I'm really not sure what happened there
Cool game overall. Congrats!
sorry for all the bugs, the game is kinda broken and goes completely nuts after one session - like, some items & states reset - and some not.
By the way, the trap does not kill the spider - it only stuns the beast. then you have to figure out how to finish him :)
I'll be grateful if you @ me when the new-and-improved version is out!
However, there is still one bug with resetting left. When you fix the generator - that fact never resets. So in any loop afterwards the water you poor into a hole immediately gets electrified and you get killed (even if you fill the hole with water first and never touch the generator on that particular loop day). There is no way out of this (that I could find) except for starting the game anew and making sure you can kill the spider on the same loop day before you even touch the generator.

Thanks for playing the game, we happy to see that you've finished it :)
Not on the first try yet somehow I did it:

btw, exactly what meme sound are you talking about? Indeed, we aimed for Humor, but it's the text that should've made players chuckle, not the sounds :)
I really appreciate the visuals and audio feedback, it was both high quality and atmospheric. I got a bit spoiled with the gameplay but it the "puzzle" of figuring out what to do still seemed pretty intuitive and straight-forward, even if I could've used maybe a bit more clearer objective (such as "lay a trap"). The bugs can kind of take away from the quality of the game, which is unfortunate, since I really like what you've got here otherwise. All in all, good job team! :-)
Other than this I quite enjoyed the game. The first time I played I had only looked at a few items/places by the time it was.... well "time to die". Figuring out what everything does was fun, even though I'm still not sure whether there is a relation between fixing the sink and killing the spider^^
The art is outright stunnign for a jam game and audio and the slow walk speed do their part to create a dense athmosphere. Aside from the bug the one thing that would help this game a lot in my option would be a fullscreen version. I assume this might stretch the 2D assets beyond their limits, but even a version with similar size of the actual game and a large black frame to fill in the rest of the screen would help the game be more immersive.
As for the sink - well, the original intention was to give the player multiple solutions for every step needed to defeat the enemy. However, we've cut a lot of objects and the sink in the only alternative option that survived until the release. You can use it to get water from the well, it just needs some fixing up. On paper it sounded like a faster option that required more effort - 3 seconds to fix the sink and 4 seconds to pour some water into the bucket, whereas it takes 15 seconds to use the well. But we placed the wrench too far from the sink and there was no time for balancing and playtesting, so in the end, seems like the player has no benefits from getting water from the sink...
I'll happily give the game another go if there is a new version over the coming days =)
