This is a game for the ludum dare 46 game jam. The theme was "keep it alive" and we created a game in which the player must act as a virus, jumping from person to person in order to survive. Use WASD for move the character and aim with the mouse.

OMG that was so cute and fun i loved the art and the idea, would be fun if there were different abiliteis, like a cought or a vomit, so that you can get more and more sick haha omg loved it good job. it was very hard to play tho gg

this game is cool, the game is in an odd place where its got a hint of these stealth mechanics, im wondering if this game could lean into a puzzle kinda thing where you gotta infect everyone without being caught, or if it could lean into a fast pace arcadey kinda game

Had a real blast with this game! Never thought haw hard it can be for a virus to spread especially with all the police and medics around... The eye opener was that I can infect policemen which game the game perspective completely new strategic element :) Really nice and addictive. Wasn´t able to get above 35% but will not stop trying :) Really well polished and overall executed, great job! Thank you for this

We actually had a similar idea for a game while brainstorming  Fun game. The graphics look cute and the music and sounds are nice and chill. I only wish there was some sort of indicator for a sneeze area.

I like the feeling of time pressure in the game, you need to move on very quickly which is tricky at times :)

Funny concept. I wish it was more clear how you were spreading amongst the crowd. Nice models, the sneeze animation is hilarious. Good work!

This is a great concept and definitely poignant. Great execution and good job with making it engaging. I don't have any complaints! You should definitely keep working on this.

Good work and see you next ludum dare!

I found myself struggling with the controls especially the rotation was too fast - this could be because I am primarily a console gamer and I'm not used to using a mouse - plus it never felt like I as able to properly move and aim. However, I did find the gameplay quite easy to understand and get into, the graphics are very fun like little capsule people, the environment feels alive (though to do in a jam so congrats), and the game was as challenging as you make it be. :D

thank you everyone for the lovely comments! We do agree the mouse sensitivity might be insane, but the programmer is one of those pc gamers with odd mouse sensitivity settings. He does plan to add a slider to configure that in game.
the scene was done in a sort of modular setting, even the characters are basically materials and props variations, so I hardly had to make anything. All animations were done in unity.
Some fine tuning I think is necessary on the time it takes for you to infect someone, and I think the medic isn't really working properly.

Mouse-Rotation too fast but except of this I have nothing to complain. Very nice game, thanks!

Haha the mandatory virus game, well done!

Two notes: as others said, the aim controls are slightly oversensitive, and the % indicator at the top is a bit hard to see/understand at first, but that's not too bad :)
