END GOAL

Keep the alien alive and learn as much as you can from him!

HOW TO PLAY

Use the right screen on the bottom to control the atmosphere.

You can click on the research panel to open the research tree.

Exit menus with Esc.

BUDGET & SCIENCE POINTS

You can use your budget to by equipment and perform experiments.

Use the acquired science points to publicize your findings and get funding.

RESEARCH

1.The first column are the experiments. * They cost money and make the alien more hostile. They give science points

2.The second one are the communication researches. * The cost money and give science points they also lower the alien's hostility

3.The third one is what every scientist live for! Publicizing research! * They cost science points but give funding. Unfortunately the alien doesn't really like it.

4.And last but not list the equipment upgrades. * You need money to purchase them (allow time for delivery) but they unlock other researches

ATMOSPHERE

Make sure the alien has the right atmosphere the worst the atmosphere is, the more damage he takes.

Really like the Idea, found it really hard to find in and figure out how to start best, after a few tryes it was better.

Cool concept, but the UI is really hard to navigate.

The ui is hard to navigate but gosh darn the game is fun. It is very difficult but most Game Jam games aren't well balanced anyways. The music is lowkey a bop. Good work!

I agree with the previous comments, it is really a cool idea but hard to play at the beginning.

Solid game overall
I think the game would really benefit from an improved balance, since it's basically a resource management game. Getting the atmosphere right was really expensive and didn't seem to change anything. Especially the atmosphere impacts the health decrease and there's just an option to heal the alien - so the atmosphere is kind of redundant :/
The graphics were solid, though the audio loop felt way too short or just monotone.
You nailed the theme, so good job there ^^

This is a fun concept! I wish there was a little bit more of a visual indicator or clearness as far as which research upgrades were available and which weren't—it seemed like red text was used to show that there was a precursor you didn't have, like the crane, but then red text was also just used for all of the titles which was a bit confusing. Also maybe the background color when you hover each research option could indicate if they were possible, instead of all of them just being green. I think often some clearness is added in research trees by drawing lines between things and their precursors.
I wish the atmosphere adjustments were a bit more forgiving—it felt a bit bad to ever adjust the atmosphere because I had to spent $50 to adjust a slider at all. It would've been nice if the amount I spent changed based on how much I wanted to adjust the slider.
Otherwise, really great job! I felt like I really had to stop and think about the path I wanted to take to make sure I had a budget and science points moving forward while still managing to keep the alien alive and friendly.

One more fun little addition to the game would be just a little scrolling feed somewhere that had little excerpts from the news articles, or people's reactions to them, or scientists journal entries or notes, just fun little bits of text I think would add a lot of life to the game :)
