Good Job!I like the graphics, and time rewind feels pretty good. But punishment from boss death is too big( for newbies like me

@garywiss Oh thanks for explaining! I really loved the game, the gameplay feels great and not too punitive since you only go back in time a little when you're hit, and the style is awesome. I particularly loved the tilt shift effect to give a sense of perspective and the dissolve shader to avoid obstruction for the camera, great job from your team!

Nice gameplay and choice of graphics.
I also liked the effect of going back in time, although when it goes back quite far several times it becomes a bit frustrating :)

I love the graphic style and the dying mechanic. The music is pleasant and fits just right. Great game. Got rick rolled at the end.

Ok, I have a few things to saw about this. First, sometimes the sword from the front looks like a wiener. Second, those meatloaf cupcakes are vicious. Third, the art style on this game is so cool and original. I love the 2D/3D look. And just in general, there is a lot this game has going for it. The penalties for getting touched can be a bit extreme sometimes, especially with the final boss since there are so many guys before him. I can tell there was a lot of inspiration from dark souls and I mean that in a very good way.

Art style was very nice, and music was impressive, especially felt nice to have the intense music fade in and out for combat.

Not sure I can appreciate the subtle rick rolling after my amazing victory just because of the game's name being similar to the song name but I get it :P

A very cool combination of 2D and 3D. I really liked the idea of the game. Cool character design. It would be cool to play the full game with a lot of mechanics and an interesting story.

I loved the concept art and designs, those enemies are great, and also the main character.
Controls are easy to understand and smooth, thanks for the hints.
The map is a good point too. Visually, one of my favorites on the Jam.

There's a lot of good going in this game, but the atmospheric shots here and there really bring it to life.

The effect of dying and retrying was very well executed, putting the loop theme into a creative use. I was not sure what determined how long I'd be driven back after a death though. Some deaths just made me retreat a bit while another one at the boss sent me back a looooon way, all the way to the vendor. It was a bit weird in that aspect, but otherwise, I had a blast!

Loved it! This is one of the most impactful games of the jam I've seen to date! 🐳

The parallax distant objects give this game a very original and awesome look. I loved that I could see where I was going from almost the beginning. 5 stars for graphics. The looping was a good mechanic. The combat was a bit shallow. Overall a great game.

Wow such a cool aesthetic, I love blends of 2D and 3D, and the VFX / visuals were used very nicely in this entry to compliment that. Congratulations on getting a game this polished during the jam, so good

The game's completion is by far the highest in all games I've played. The 3d-with-pixel graphics is really unique and beautiful, combat is fun, even addicting. Rewinding mechanic is visually stunning. There is even a close-up camera before the boss battle, that add to the feeling of final battle.

Mechanic wise, I think dying once player was being hit is a bit too harsh. Depth can't be properly identified for 2d pixel characters, so it's hard to tell when a enemy will collide with me. The final boss' mechanic is too simple, the time-rewind penalty too strong, which is a bit of let down.

Overall this is a really solid entry! Great job!

Felt powerful at times. The mobs are easy to beat, in general, but it's more fun when they gang up on you. The boss was a little frustrating, as I found myself waiting a lot before going into the fight, otherwise I'd rewind all the way to the bottom. Really liked the camera movements and the music changing when getting in and out of combat. Great game!

Amazing art style, love the 3d grapichs and level design. Probably the coolet game ive seen so far in the jam. This deserves to be made into a full game (with some combat improvments)

Absolutely amazing! It's a very rare find for an RPG in a ludum dare, and even rarer that it's as well made as this one! Incredible work all around, the time loop gimmick is really cool! Also hot dang, was that a cool final boss! (or should I say foss binal) Seriously amazing job.

Damn the perspective and art style are super cool. The combat could be made to feel more satisfying but for the most part it was still already fun. I liked the upgrades. The time-rewind mechanic is a great idea but the amount you are set back could be fine-tuned (especially for the final boss). The music was also neat. And I gotta mention the graphics again: The game just looks so nice. Great job!

COol game! Love the retro/pixel look. The blur gives it some nice depth of field which I really enjoyed.
Gameplay is fun and I like the progression of using gold for abilities, feels very rewarding.
