Keep THEM Alive by ItzJoJo

No Ingame tutorial, because of reasons below :)
WASD to move Left Mouse Button to splashpunch The player has 3 HP A slime has 2 HP A skeleton has 1 HP A minion has 10 HP The game resets when the player dies
The goal is to collect both minions and escape the dungeon with both of them. Slime enemies are only trying to kill the minions and Skeletons only damages the player. Kill the slimes to prevent your minions from dying, but also watch out for the skeletons coming for You.
Oh well, this was a interesting experience... I had about a week of experience in the engine we used and my friend had never done an animation in Photoshop before.
This and the lack of time resulted in a very challenging and maybe even stressful experience We were not able to polish or fully test the game and had to leave behind a lot of very important features and cool extra things we wanted to add.
The code and the project itself was really messy and far from optimized and some ideas didn't work out due to a lack of knowledge.
We really wanted to give up and not submit anything at some points where we got stuck and couldn't go forward, but we motivated eachother and eventually we were able to submit something we didn't dislike and we could be a tiny bit proud of.

I experienced few crashes when I and a slime hit each other at the same time. I hp bar would have been nice but I understand that you had limited time to create features. I hope we will see a pos jam game with more polish. All the shortcomings aside, what you had time to make was great!
Doing animations in Photoshop is not a good idea at all. That must have been a real pain in the... ;). Also: stick with Godot, you will love it, you'll see. We made our game in Godot as well :)
