TUTORIAL

In CRAZY PARTY RESUSCITATION you play as a DJ trying to keep a party alive.

Every guest wants to listen to their own favorite song, indicated by their color and the rhythm they dance to during the "Listen..." phase. They also change what they want to hear at the start of the "Listen..." phase.

Once the "Listen..." phase ends, you'll have to play back the rhythm they are dancing to in order to change the song to what they want to hear. However, after a while the crowd will start asking for multiple songs at once, and anyone not dancing to their favorite song will start to leave the party.

You can only play one song at a time! Do you want to keep as many people dancing as possible? Do you want to cater to the people near the exit to stop them from leaving? Their rhythms will also cross over each other, so you have to take care to still play the correct beat!

Nice! Good idea, but I'd like a little more interaction with the player!

Nice entry! I got to round 22.

My biggest quibble is that the audio playback when I repeated the rhythm was delayed by a fraction of a second, which made it difficult to repeat the rhythm (I assume the input itself was unaffected, but it was disorienting to hear the rhythm I was playing a tiny bit slow).

Other than that, neat idea, catchy music, and a nice atmosphere. Well done for 72 hours.

Oh my word, now this was very enjoyable to play and I loved soundtrack at play here. My only gripe was the lack of visual feed back when it came to determining when exactly beats were supposed to play (Unless the crowd jumping to the beat was the feedback. In that case you can ignore this.), I could tell the different colours meant different songs however.

Very fun and incredible music. My only suggestion would be giving the party-goers a small animation before they jump to help the player keep to the beat.

Very cool music, I'm horrible at rhythm games, but the game is fun and the music catchy. I would like a more evident visual clue to follow, but at least I got to round 10 :v:

I love the look and the sound but unfortunately I couldn't figure out the gameplay, I think you need to have more feedback for the player so they can tell when they are successfully matching the beat.

Very Neat Music and sound design, just feel like it could do with a tad more player feedback, try makeing it so it feels like you are truely in control over the game, right now it kinda feels like sound is playing over the gameplay not the and its not directly influinceing eachother (yes i know its quite a hard thing to get right).

over all this game is truely a fun little gem you should be proud.

Oooh I love the concept!!!
I struggled a little, but that is just me LOL
I would love more feedback, I wasn't sure if I was doing anything right or not, and sometimes I was very confused why they were leaving.

Really cool concept and art style. I think something to indicate the driving underlying beat for the rhythm would be really helpful to the player. I think with a little more polish this could be a really awesome game, great work so far!

Nice idea, and really cool execution. Difficulty-wise it may need a bit of tweaking, maybe easier sequences at the beginning with a bit of visual aid too that gets harder as the player successfully completes them, but quite cool nonetheless.

When it comes to mood, visuals and audio work very well together. Nice job overall

Good game idea! i was not able to get far in the game because of my lack of rythm skills i guess ^^
Some visual feedbacks like in Guitar heros kind of games would be appreciated to help see when i have to hit the space bar.
