Couldn't get shooting to work, so just ran in circles, and ended up winning from lasting long enough? Controls were a bit confusing at first.

@profugo-barbatus I think the weapon doesn't activate by itself at first so you have to press one of the switch weapon keys. Sorry about that :/

Nice game. Controls were a little haphazard. But a great submission for sure :raised_hands:

Some nice audio design in there, would have liked it to last a little longer. Just as I figured out what I was actually doing, it told me i'd won?

Everything works fine, after switching first weapon. Nice work, adding few weapons was really great idea.

@dama Thanks!

@oddsocks Thanks for playing!

@minibetrayal Haha yeah, I only managed to get the content in the last few hours, barely got everything working and connected. Maybe I'll work on a post jam version with more content, some fixes and better background art. Thanks for playing!

@gucio-miszcz Thanks! I felt like just one weapon wouldn't be fun

When I finally found out how to activate the weapons it was quite fun. Was a little slow, I think you could have made it a little faster. Good job with this game :)

This was very fun. It was a bit easy to win by just mashing spacebar though. Great game overall.

Nice game! I enjoyed it a lot. It was hard at first because I didn't know how to shoot, but when I figured out how to get my weapon out I enjoyed it. I figured out space works for switching weapons as well as what you said. Great job!

Fun game, I liked trying out the different weapons! I think the player should be a little faster though, it does feel pretty slow moving around in a loop.

@nailuj29-gaming Oops. That's a bug. Supposed to shoot when you're not in the menu :sweat_smile:

@fractal-flower-girl Thanks!

@thewinrawr Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game, as mentioned, having the weapon at the start would have saved some initial confusion, but fun none the less

The nechanics are pretty interesting but I actually thought the spacebar thing was a nice feature that you could jump between rings. Having the levels be part of the same landscape was cool but it was also very unclear that I had actually progressed to the next level. the shooting was well impplemented but it didn't feel that satisfying, maybe some missing sound or something. Also it didn't really feel like a challenge I think the movement of both player and enemy is maybe a bit too slow to make it action packed.This also adds in to the shooting not feeling satisfying because the aiming becomes very easy. Overal a nice concept but I feel like the implementation needs some tweaking to make it good and fun.

This turned out to be a "hold a button and run in circles" sort of game. I never felt as though I had any idea how much health I or the crystals had remaining. As noted above, it's confusing that you don't start with a weapon equipped. Having three guns was interesting, but, with the exception of the small enemies, it seemed to me that 2/3-shotting everything with the rocket was the way to go. I like the idea of locking the player into an irregular-shaped path, but it needs more mechanical support. Still, good work!

At first I didn't understand how to play, so I ended up finishing the game just by pressing space Haha. But then I came back to your game page and read better what should be done and that pressing the space and ending the game would be a bug. Anyway, I really enjoyed the experience, it's a simple and fun game. The graphics are ok, and the music is cool. It is a good interpretation of the theme. The mechanics of moving "inside a loop" while you have to look for a better angle to shoot, is interesting. Good job.

After coming here and finding out that you have to switch weapons first, I was finally able to get it to work. I definitely like your idea of going around loops. However, it was a bit hard for me to figure out which key to press to move in which direction, since sometimes moving clockwise means moving from right to left even though you're holding the left key. Also, I expected that when I swapped loops I'd be moving to a point close to the loop I was already at, and that not happening was disorienting. With some polishing, however, it could be a really solid game, and it's definitely a great fit for the theme.
