Really fun game. I played this the longest of any of the jam games so far. I really wanted to see my plant get even bigger, but before passing the big olive bush I got tired of running back and forth when my inventory was full. Might have been nice if there was some technique to get the plant to follow you.

Execution was top notch. I loved the art, the music, the animations, and the humor. It would have been nice to have some more mechanics though or at least understand how the different materials were affecting the plant. It felt pretty random.

I find it interesting how long you kept me engaged with what amounts to a pretty shallow mechanic. I think all of the polish and feeling of progression really added up and kept me going.

Solid 4/5 - great job!

@jondkoon Hey! Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the music and the animations! The plant does actually follow you after a little bit (you can feed him a bunch or give him an olive and he'll start to follow you!). That said, it wasn't super obvious.

This game is wonderful and severely underrated. The writing is funny and manages to stay unique and individual throughout. Everything in this game is leaking personality. The graphics are very expressive. The core gameplay loop is simple yet really satisfying. Great job. 5/5

Hahaha that was actually pretty funny, I love the mechanic of feeding the plant and making it follow you like a pokemon or something, very nice entry!

Funny game! I loved kicking things over and over to see new dialogue. Good use of visual effects (screen shake, etc.) to make actions pop.

I feel like a monster now. I kicked so many innocent puddles! It was a good time though haha

I was expecting to do a normal resource management game on a normal plant, but then it turned into... something else.

The game said I got a new plant, but it disappeared and I couldn't find it.

Damn, it was funny as hell (and you got me hooked directly with the title). Nice and satisfying, visual and sound effect were nice. Very cool Indded. If there was a weak point it would be the theme as I didn't feel as I was keeping it alive.

A simple premise really well executed! Liked how the music evolved with the plant's growth too. Great fun.

The music was fanastic I really loved it.

I really liked the game, especially the graphics and the music. It really worked, however I didn't really get what you have to do at the start so by the end all the materials where used and the plant couldn't grow anymore. Maybe adding a sort of regrow? Really nice game tho :D

This was so delightfully weird! It was satisfying to play all the way through, the fact that your only action to collect stuff was 'kick' was hilarious, and I loved reading the dialogue. And the building music was a really nice touch :)

Well done, the music fits and the dialoges are really funny. I sometimes skipped some of them when I was pushing too fast, but I think I caught most of the jokes. I don't know what else to say, this is a really really solid entry to the jam!

The dialogue in this was great; especially the trees in first area. You did a great job spinning some of the limitations of jam games into humor. The art had a nice style to it as well. Great job on this one!

I liked it but when the plant went to sleep I didn't know what to do. A fun game overall.

Alright, this one was genuinely hilarious. And everything else was just great. Witty writing, smooth animations with lovely details (don't know why I'm loving the hair so much), nice pixel art, chill atmosphere, relaxing music. Definitely one of my favorites from this jam. 10/10 would kick puddles again.
