@thedarkmagi thats what I was thinking after realease too) really a shame that sound was so destructing
All UI rework suggestion always welcome - it hard sometimes to see what is not user friendly by yourself)
Will be cool to hear you finish up the game later!)
All you have to do is make a certain button (say, p, for example) toggle a boolean, and when that bool is true then Time.timeScale = 0, and when it's false, then Time.timeScale = 1. It's how I did the pausing for my game (minus UI, of course). If you decide to do post jam, this would be a really easy way of adding a pause functionality :)
and if player can make the path it would be better
cool game
It's amazing just how much content and polish you were able to make. Not only is there a lot of useful upgrades for the ship, I also like how you can actually see them attached to the ship after you buy them.
Toward the end game, I felt like I was just following the directions of the crystal scanner or whatsitcalled to find my home planet. This was a little bit of tedium, as the map is relatively large, and not very rewarding, as there is just a quick "You win" message. A little bit of flavor would have been nice here.
All in all though, very good game.
Glad you mentioned upgrades - I actually had much more in mind and will add them soon, I think the project is worth expanding.
I agree with your ending experience, it propably should be more noticable then just ending screen)
@yeomsley glad you had that feeling) I actually think the start should be easier for the player
