made by for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

Turn cooking into alchemy. No boring mixing, no dangerous slicing, no neverending cooking times. Just enjoy the discovery of good food here and now! Drop the ingredients in the cauldron and wait for transmutation to happen! You'll just need a little heat, provided by your dragon Kiki who'll do it for free... or for some of the amazing food you create.

The goal of this light puzzle game is to complete all the recipes in the inventory in the lowest number of combinations.

Watch our for Kiki's energy, if it goes to 0, it's over! Using an ingredient will lock it for a number of turns. Be careful not to run out of possible moves!

Hey,
I really enjoyed the Game. It is a little bit tricky since you got cooldown on the items - so it is a challenge! But I liked it a lot!

I have always liked those kind of games where you combine stuff to get new stuff, so I really enjoyed your game! The cooldowns are a nice idea but can be just a little annyoing ;) nice graphics and if you need someone to walk the dragon let me know ;)

I usually play the more action-y games, but this is a nice change of pace. It's pretty exciting to see what new ingredients i could cook up.

I like the look and the sound and think the gameplay loop is pretty fun.
However I never quite understood how energy and mana worked, I was basically just always combining things at random until they came off cooldown or the crystal appeared.

Yeah! Finish it! I liked it. Congrats! And the graphics are great.

Maybe it's too easy (I tried to kill the dragon... But too hard)

I think I stuck, I had lemon and grape as 0; rice and meat as 1. I think 1s are changing to 0 when I made a meal but there is no possibility for me to do meal. I don't know whether you thought that as puzzle element or a bug. Other than that, game is good.

I love this game. The graphics is great and some foods look funny. Bonus points for using lemon as one of the ingredients.

Game is well made, pretty chill :)
the puzzle part is a bit hidden at the beginning but become more obvious as you start to try to have every recipes and you understand cooldowns: maybe a tiny bit more difficult would be nice? not sure it is the goal of the game anyway ;)

Nice entry!

Thanks for so much love and feedback guys!

The goal was that of making the game about exploration, the puzzle was meant to keep you engaged between one new thing and the other but I admit it was not so easy :D

The puzzle didn't come out as expected - we didn't have enough time to balance to make mana and energy meaningful.
Being stuck is a possibility, but I'd really like to change that.

I'll keep all the feedback in mind, and my teammate will be happy about all your compliments on the graphics :yellow_heart:
