Well, a small Tamagotchi game, I think this is the only game i managed to play through hahaha =D, i think you need some balancing between the things you can do, i did the game with feeding stuff and sport, i could ignore all other stuff. You could add more choices or doggos to choose. All in all a funny short game =)

I had a surprisingly large amount of fun playing this game and getting to play fetch with my dog. Fun little game.

I had more fun with this game than I though I would - although, I would have liked it if there were more options that affected the dog's curiosity vs. obedience, but overall, I enjoyed it. I have to say though - I appreciate the dog's dialogue.

I thought this was a good sims style activity game, having to carefully manage one aspect that each have their own pluses and minuses.
I would have like a few hints here and there on what the dog need or wanted to do to help them.
And some sounds or music would have given it another dimension to add to the mood of the game and help the player better enjoy the experience.
Over all good Job, nicely done.

Thanks for all the feedback! It is very much appreciated. I've been programming for a while but this is the first time I've ever completed a personal project. So, all input is useful!

I agree that there needs to be more balancing, activities, and feedback from the dog but there just wasn't time to get to everything. I only found out about Ludum Dare on Saturday, so I was already at a disadvantage, and I just had to publish in a "good enough" state on Monday.
I also definitely need to add sound to my repertoire. I have no real experience working with it and my goal for this jam was just to get something done so I shied away from it.

I'm most likely going to tinker with it post-Ludum Dare and hopefully build something a little more polished and feature-rich. Possibly, which fancy things like animation and sounds! Maybe even music -- should I dare to dream!

I told my dog they were a good dog. Then they died.

I enjoyed the dog's dialogue very much, nice solid entry. A little audio would have kicked it up a notch though- maybe next time!

This was really cute. The dog's dialogue was definitely the highlight.

I wish there was a little more visual feedback when a bar is running low, and also when your dog dies.

Still, a cool concept with a lot of variety and charm.

The humorous lines and execution of that humor was excellent! I loved seeing all the different lines the dog might reply with, though in some cases it felt like there were too little lines for some activities, or the random selection of them was not that great, it could use some "don't repeat lines" work. Graphics obviously could use some improvement, however they did fit the humorous theme so points for that!

One thing I'd like to see though, is that as an accessibility thing (since it was somewhat of a problem for me) the time should maybe not run while you're not doing anything, so that you can read the lines at your own pace, honestly it kept my dog dying a few times since I'm such a slow reader, but I think for most people that's quite a minor thing.

I did enjoy playing it, even though it was a bit difficult trying to keep the dog alive, since it was not very straight forward as to what things improved what and what things didn't. Overall quite good, excellent job!

This is overall a bit weird, but it is also pretty funny jam game. Well done.

@jacobingalls That's rough buddy. At least they went out knowing you cared.
