Astrodrift by Flaterectomy

Uh-oh, looks like the spaceship has exploded again! Time for another emergency space walk to one of the surviving escape pods. Your fragile spacesuit stores some oxygen, but be careful around your jettisoned cargo of prickly cacti and pointy hedgehogs!

:joystick: Controls/How To Play
- :mousethreebutton: LEFT CLICK on an object to engage your tractor beam.
- :mousethreebutton: LEFT CLICK on empty space to disengage your tractor beam.
- Use the tractor beam to adjust your direction and momentum.
- Avoid hitting objects, they might puncture your suit!
- Small objects will be pulled into motion themselves.
- Pick up additional oxygen and maybe a patch to seal a puncture from deceased astronauts.
- Turn off music or sound effects as well a restart using the icons in the top right.
Drift around sharp objects and get yourself to safety!

Well done on your entry, it's one of the most pleasant game I played so far, well done! :)
Hmm.
I guess some times the paths were a bit too cramped given that it is quite difficult to clear a path without taking a lot of hits. A push ability (which pushes the driftnaut too. Equal opposite reaction and all that) would work in this regard. That's my five cents then.

No I'm not very good at the game and helemaal niet slecht! :wink:
However the "nav beacons" / wayp-oints might need some sort of arrow or similar to make them more recognizable, it took me a few attempts to understand that.
Very good job, this was fun to play, and you deserved a place on the podium, really! :D
*PS : I didn't mention the pixel art (and animation), but I found it very polished for a Jam, well done for that too*
