I had fun playing your game! I felt super protective about the little guy. The enemies are all quite unique and the alien especially was a very nice touch.
I also liked how the little bird would sing when you call him.

👍nice game

Art and narrative are great! The pacing at the start was a little slow, and would have loved to have heard some more sound effects for the drones, and the environment. Great job!

Nice little game. Would have been nice to see some small two frame animation rather then just static images, and the friction was a little tight, but otherwise it was great!

sweet little minigame I could see being implemented in a bigger project. Feels very finished and packed up. Great job :D

Wow, where are all these reviews coming from all of a sudden? Did we get featured in a stream or something? Thank you all for your kind words!

@zeggamer I did want to add a little more animation, like a proper sprite for the bird instead of a circle, but I just plain ran out of time. I'll see if I can patch some in over the coming days.

Nice game! Easy to understand what needs to be done to get going. Great job.

Personally I prefer games that I can win, rather than playing until I ”lose”.

The graphical style was cohesive all the way through and the audio track and chirp worked out very well. Good solid game, the controls are tight and I like how you not only had to worry about your own position but also the "bird" (which you already know doesn't look like a bird XD).

Very nice! I like the art style, the sound, and the feeling while playing. A very good game for such a small amount of development time.

This was actually pretty neat! I like to see fun new pico-8 stuff! Quite liked the SFX, well done!

This was a good game. The only thing I didn't like was the control of your drone. I liked the audio and the art was really nice. A good game overall, good job.

Very nice arcade game!

The drone was a little slow coming to a stop after you release the button, but other than that very good!

You did a really good job with this game! It could easily make a really good mobile game if expanded.
the art and music were simply amazing (other than the bird, obviously). They could easily feature in a $5-$10 game. Gameplay was really addicting and fun, I especially liked the way the drone controlled. Only complaint is that the drone and clouds don't stand out enough, so when the drone goes in front of one it's possible to lose track of it.

@pobix Yeah, that's the problem with restricted palettes. I could make the drone a bit greyer, but then I'd worry about contrast with the enemy drones. Glad you enjoyed it so much, though!
