Cool idea, but the text is very hard to read and that shotgun sound is WAY too loud

I always appreciate trying to give the game a bit of background, so I like the intro cutscenes, but you gotta use a higher resolution for the art and font next time.
I would have liked another way to kite the enemies besides walking to the shop, it's pretty difficult to align yourself correctly.
I really like how the game is on a grid, but turns into a regular shmup pixel based game when the amulet is broken.
An ambitious entry, keep it up and keep improving!
Also, why no mood category? I actually think having an original mood is one of the strengths here.

Nice sprites and introduction and nice combination of genres. Especially liked the main character sprite and the overall mood.

The text was pretty hard to read, and the shotgun was a bit loud, but a solid game overall. I liked the need to tactically plan movement and the bit where you turn into a gold ghost and fly around shooting was pretty cool.

Some things were hard to see with the background and aesthetic you chose, but I had a good time with the game once I figured it out.

Text is hard to read, but I liked the idea of the game, main character sprite, how different weapons attack differently and the weird ghost which you became if you die :)
