Chrono Kill by Giranath

[raw]
made by Giranath for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

Your team encounters a hostile alien spaceship that has the technology to go back in time whenever it is damaged.

Coordinate your team to defeat the alien spaceship and get out of it's time loop.

Click on the screen to move your fighter

Your goal is to time perfectly and kill the antennas on the enemy ship with all of your ships. The red antenna can be killed with the red ship and you can guess the rest.

If you do not time correctly and kill an antenna at the same time it'll loop. The time will also loop if the ship you are currently controlling is destroyed. The ships will replay the last sequence you "registered" by playing.

Knowing this, you will notice that you can't complete the game unless you control each ship at least once.

The game was developped to be played on phone, the control work on PC but they might feel strange.

Quite a confusing game, it kept ending and making me choose a ship despite not being hit (I assume I must have to protect my team mates too?)

Would love to see it with some tutorial and clearer controls! Love the sound design!

Interesting concept however gameplay is slightly confusing. I agree with the rest of the players here.. perhaps a suggestion would be a tutorial to explain to people how they can play the game

Agree with the above, a tutorial would help things a lot. It also looks like it might play better on a phone, playing it on PC the controls feel a bit wonky.

The graphics and sound effects are quite well made though.

Not bad for a 3 days game, but I didn't know what I was supposed to do until I figured it out by playing

You need to destroy each triangle that is sticking out of the "Blobbling program" with a ship that has the same color. So, you play 3 times, once with each ship

A simple concept but you might want to make it a bit more exciting

The controls weren't very good. I was using M&K but I think the game was meant to be played with a controller

I also encountered a bug where the game wouldn't restart after I beat it

Overall, decent work, but could use more polishing. Keep it up
