Perhaps a not so serious "Real life in isolation" simulator, perhaps an attempt to simulate the pain of waiting for social media relevance.

Haha Apparently cats and dogs are the most popular. Sure if it's rainy outside I stay home and listen to nice music too. I like your simple line art and the cute animations. ;)

Wow, very great grahics and animation! But I did not really understand what was my goal in the game? I sent pictures and went a bit outside... I felt like being even more isolated than I am xD

Very interesting game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/ZEPFZEokffw

Neat little title, I like the theming of the art and it's amusing to have two screens: your phone and the actual game. It felt like it lacked direction, especially since I didn't know where the end goal was, which I understand is part of the story of the game but it makes me feel more malaise in playing than engagement in finding new ways to entertain the bird. I wish there was more to do outside, like going right. Chill beats to lay in bed and scroll to (:

Cute animations. I liked that you could choose to do whatever you want during the day. Just sit in bed and post on social media. Or put your phone away and go for a walk. There's no reward for getting likes or followers, there's also no reward for exploration.
I think it might be interesting if there's a bit more interaction. Maybe you could see a bird or a deer while going for a walk. Or maybe you could get different replies depending on what you posted. But it's nice as just a short little experience to mess around with.

It's so beautiful art and animations. The phone is cool mechanics and interesting concept. And the music is very chill. Nice done.

No too much thing that I can do in this simulator. But I like the line art work and animations, well done.

The cute graphics within those comic-frames are really great. The soothing music is a nice touch.

I started out walking through the fields for the first couple of days in the rain, but a few days later I captures myself staying in bed the whole day posting cat pictures.

It's a perfect representation of my life. Thank you for this game!

Very cute graphics! I also like the repetative nature of the gameplay as a statement of the current situation. While it served as great commentary, it also felt a bit limiting gameplaywise. It would have been kind of cool to be able to take pictures outside - in spite of the lack of wifi - and possibly unlock more elements for the posts that way?

I really loved the black-and-white handdrawn art style and the jazzy tune. And that you could arrange anything in the posts added a nice creative touch to it. Is it of any importance what you do post (I think not?) ..at least cat and pillow pictures seem to be en vogue. Taking snapshots of oneself staying in bed or during a walk in the rain would of course be nice too. All in all - very soothing, slightly melancholic, but altogether original experience. Very good!

I like the art-style and mood of the game.

The chill music makes the bird's apartment feel cozy when you see the rainfall from the window.

I also like the fact that you made different animations for the bird browsing the phone from bed and while standing. The fluid and versatile animation makes the world feel alive.

---

Unfortunately there's not that much gameplay.

The idea of the phone-screen is quite neat, and could serve many different purposes. But as of now it wasn't very entertaining for long. (I would've loved if someone would've texted me!)

Going outside might be more fun too if there would be a ball to kick around or something.

Or perhaps a mailbox where you'd receive packages the bird could order with the shiny smartphone? :iphone: :package:

---

So all in all the entry could use a bit more interactivity, but has a very nice atmosphere.

Keep making games!

I can feel its vibe. Graphics are cute and simple and the music is chill but without any bright emotions in it and it matches the game. It has the idea in it, it mirrors some problems of the modern society and I like it very much. Simple and not really varative gameplay (you either post pictures or sit on a chair under the rain day after day) makes me feel the frustration perfectly so the mood is on point. I didn't realize I can turn on the phone when I'm at home so I've been siting on a chair under the rain for a week waiting for something to happen, eh... So I kinda felt it

We also made a game about social media so I had to play this one! I love the graphic and mood and I get the idea but as other people mentioned, there could be a goal maybe? or some random things happening in the background to make it more interesting. Overall a nice entry ^^

Nice looks and animations, and music. More interactions would make it more interesting, but the emptyness also conveys the lockdown situation nicely. Good work!

I enjoyed playing this game! The graphics were all very cute, but the game got repetitive after a while. Overall, this is a very nice and relaxing game.

I like the graphics and audio in this game. You have put black, white, and grey to good use, and the music fits the mood very well.

I don't use social media so using the phone was a learning experience for me. But it was fun posting different images. I liked going outside and exploring as well; I only wish there was a larger map. In any case, I think this game has a lot of potential. I can imagine having the phone be a means to find damsels in distress and so forth. Good work, keep at it!
