Nice little game. I enjoyed playing it a bit. There were some enemies I just could not hit. Maybe there is a small collision problem that happen when enemies are quite close to the bear ? I loved the idea anyway. :purple_heart:

I made it to level 4, but the game is a bit too fast for me. I did not find a way to heal yourself, it could be a nice addition. Also, moving Teddy to the center so that it can be attacked from different sides would make the game more interesting I think.

The art in this game makes me smile a lot. Great job on this Jam!

@madewink yes, if the monster is next to the bed, when attacking him, the sword collides with the bed instead and you cannot kill the monster.
@sylvainpv thanks for the feedback, a way to heal would be nice. Moving the teddy in the center would make the player never leave the area around the bed because enemies would come from every direction.
@subtlydramatic thanks a lot, we are 2 not artsy people so we struggled a lot haha

Nice game, the graphics and sound fit together very well. sometimes its hard to hit enemies due to quirks of the game but with some polish this game could be very awesome. You did a good job on implementation of the move set. Great Job!

Nice little game, though I had a few problem with bugs - missed hits on enemies, and the game seemed to occasionally jump back to the main menu without me not knowing what had happened. A bit of feedback when the game ends would be good, like a message to say why you lost (bear died, ran out of imagination etc.)

@gurglesprain your issue with going back to the main menu might be caused by the teddy bear running out of imagination. The imagination bar is located at the top of the screen and is constantly depleting. You need to be close to the bear and hold E to recharge it. But I do agree that there should be more visual feedback added, especially before going back to the main menu screen when you lose.
The bug with missed hits on enemies is caused by an issue with collision between enemies and the bed sprite. We're currently working on fixing it.
Thanks for the feedback!

Unlocking new abilities feels good, and seems to be balanced very well. I got the baby cry exactly just when it started to get overwhelming. I would have liked a way to heal (maybe I didn't play long enough?), I ended up dying by running into a monster :stuck_out_tongue: Overall, nice entry!

Very entertaining. ^_^ I can't help but feel, though, like the room is a little bit too big, or that you're zoomed in a bit too much, didn't even realize there were spawn points top screen near the teddy until first death.

Great idea, very creative, one might say :D

A concern though: Why is the .rar-file so big? 146 MB? That seems kind of inappropriate for a 2D Pixelgame. Did you accidently pack assets you're not using in the game? It might feel nitpicky of me, but I almost didn't download it because I grew skeptical.

cute little game and idea, the controls are a bit much - I would put them permanently in one corner as a little help :) or if you stand in front of a teddy show a text that says press this to do this blabla. the art was nice, reminded me of cool old pixel games like pokemon or something <3 good job on finishing your game! :)
