Cool concept! Love the bright graphics and voiced sound effects. I really wished that characters would have something to say about my choices though, that would have made the interactions a little more meaningful. Also had to lach with the 'Nananana' sound of the skeleton. Oh and adults do take naps sometime 😅

Very cool concept. Echoing the idea that characters replying to your answer, would've been nice. I got the grandma ending which I was quite happy with.

Very cool, I liked the theming around it, being about aging and choices resulting in your solution to getting out of the cycle/loop. I wish certain characters said a couple more lines after certain choices though instead of just a default response sometimes. Overall though I thought it was a very nice first attempt.

The sound effects are awesome! I loved the concept going in a loop and talking to people but I think the story and the ending could have been better. Maybe you should have put "press x to interact" somewhere as well because it took me a few minutes to figure that out. Overall, a really cool game that made me laugh and be surprised!

I laughed so hard at how random it felt (even though the theme is excellently represented with the cycle of life!). Also worth it just for the audio. Great job!

I liked the little old lady's humming, and the woosh sounds when you're moving around the square. I don't know how I feel about this experience afterward, it feels like something I need to think about and contemplate my life choices afterward, lol. I see from other people that there are multiple endings. I got the child, playing forever in the playground. I'm good with that. I already faced death once this year, I'd like some time to play with my children now.

This was neat. I liked the audio, and the concept was fun to mess around with. I appreciated that travelling in one direction or the other varied the outcomes - that's a nice touch. I did find myself wishing for a way to skip the dialog, though, as well as a more concrete way to tell when the game ended. As-is I'm not totally sure I saw any ending, but I did get to a point where nothing else happened so I guess I did? Either way, this was a fun little game to mess around with and you had an interesting take on the theme. Nice work!

I didn't like the ending I got :frowning2: Interesting concept, and definitely fits the theme. The audio was superb, and had me grinning. Great entry.

Good stuff :8ball:

Nice idea! Audio was on point. The only thing I feel it's missing is characters responding to answers.

Got the grandma ending.

@morrilet Thanks for your comment! To clear up the confusion a bit, hopefully (spoilers!): There are four endings where 3 of the 4 NPC's vanish. When you talk to the remaining NPC, the NPC will say a few lines (press X multiple times) and the world will change. Once the NPC has finished explaining, the X key is disabled and the only thing you can still do is walk around in that "new world". The fifth ending (which I believe is what you got) is different: If the NPC's are unhappy with your answers (i.e. too many indifferent/indecisive answers), each one will tell you that once in an unfriendly way before permanently vanishing when you walk around the corner. After all 4 NPC's have vanished, the only thing you can still do is -- again -- walk around, but this time in the original world. So in all five endings, you remain stuck in some kind of loop, so to speak!

And now that I've posted our first self-comment, I would like to explicitly add that @dranjohn and I read and appreciate every single comment, even if we don't answer, and that we will continue to do so. We're extremely happy and grateful for all the feedback we've received. Many thanks to all of you!

@nidrig Oh, interesting! I actually didn't see any of them disappear, but I did run out of dialog options with all of them. Hm. I may have to give this another look. Thanks for the clarification!
