made by zimny11 for Ludum Dare 47 (COMPO)

My original project ended up in the trashbin because it turned out that I would not be able to finish it on time. And I thought that it was an easy project to do, huh. So today I made this. I wouldn't really call it a game, but I hope someone finds it funny.

I agree the theme was really challenging. But you made a game didnt you? And it has really good humor:)

Loved the humor!

THE GOOD:
- One button game, makes it simple
- The humor is good
- The curiosity to know if there's more has been exposed
- Player feedback/reward is great
- Really stuck in a loop!

THE BAD:
- I got a little stuck when the button vanished without any hints

@tradingbooch12 Look at the game screen, there is a number there :)
@elizir I'm sorry to hear that :) Also glad to hear you had a good time.
@rex64 That was the idea ;)
@merkisoft Yes, I made this music in BoscaCeoil.
@seskon @tayfun Well, I wouldn't call button press a game, but...
Thanks you all for taking the time to try it out!

@james-joubert Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked the jokes! And about getting stuck... I should probably put an important word in quotation marks :/

Hey, so... Feedback:

This was fun! I wasn't expecting the "click Ludum Dare 47 button to progress" thing so I had to look through the code. But nonetheless I enjoyed clicking the button in a loop.

Personally, I think this is a fine addition to the jam.

Second similar game I encountered this jam, but this one was way better.

The dialogue made me laugh and there were some challenging puzzles along the way

GREAT song!

thank you for this game!

@evogengames Thanks for kind words! If I had started with this idea instead of wasting my entire first day on something that didn't work, I'd probably come up with more puzzles :/ but oh well, what other can I do than learn from my mistakes :)

Even though this submission was not what you originally set out to do, you did publish something, and that is a positive. Congrats! I did find it funny and spent a lot of time clicking

I had fun with this :D
Love the idea, the humor, the simplicity and the interesting trick with the number!
It's hard to tell when you're actually stuck for real :P I'm not sure if I actually finished all content, but after spending a few minutes clicking around and pressing all the keyboard keys I gave up xD

@schizoid2k @kittymac Thanks for playing! I glad you like it.

@freeworld If you pressed the button for 3-4 minutes, you most probably went through the whole thing. The more I think about it, the more I regret not having started with that idea. And thank you for playing :)

I don't know if the story is true... that you couldn't make a game in time so you did this.

Maybe its a good point you couldn't, right?

Because this is sick.

It entertained me.

And now I want to make you piss off again.

Now.

I said.

now.

Gimme my game.

Gimme.

Gimme now.

What?

You thought you could won at your own game?

No way.

I'm still here.

Here.

Heeeeeere.

Really reminds of a few dialogues in Portal 2, when you don't do what you're supposed to do. I love that kind of humor. Also, is there really a hidden game or was that just a joke? I played through the game twice just to see if something changed, but it didn't.

@monkosum Thanks for playing! I'm glad you like it. No, there is no hidden game. I only told this joke to troll people. I also was expecting that there will be at least one person who will press every single block in the background just to try if there is something hidden :)

Amazing meta game ! It was really reminiscent of The Stanley Parable, and I'm glad people are still making like those, especially when the theme is so fitting !

Strengths :
- Fun writing and twists
- A bunch of puzzles

Possible improvements :
- It is hard to know if you are really done...but that might actually be considered as a feature

Great entry !

@jlv Thanks! The problem with letting the player know that the loop is really done in the meta game is that no one will believe it :)
