Fun and interesting game. It was a little difficult to tell where the enemy projectiles were, and how the game relates to the theme based soly on the product alone. The text faded away way to quickly which is why that may be the case. Also, it would have been really cool if killing the enemies and taking care of the baby were some how linked. I don't know, just my thoughts. Cool game though!

Neat little game! I like the art style and the perspective you've got going on. The controls also feel relatively good to me, although the platforms may be just a tad too small/exact. The sound was mostly good, but there was some loud sound effect playing often (from something off-screen?) that was a bit loud and repetitive. Good luck finishing up fixing it!

I really like the idea and the graphics but it was way to laggy to comprehend what was happening to me. The transitions are a nice detail and the music is pretty good as well. Game is quite fun despite the lag.

The game was pretty fun. I liked the graphics, and the take on the theme was very unique. However, the platforms were just too exact, and I ended up getting frustrated on some of the platforming bits. Overall, nice job! Good luck on finishing the game!

A lot of solid work in this one!
The controls were a little inconsistent (and mislabeled on your Itch page) but great work nonetheless!

It's a good looking game! Although the controls are very inconsistent to the point that I couldn't play it. Also it took me a while to figure out the controls since they are mislabeled on the website. Also a bit too much motion blur in my opinion.

I liked the graphics! The game was too hard for me so I didn't get very far.

Sometimes the challenges would disappear just after they came up, so I couldn't beat them.

Graphics are great, and I can tell there is a lot of gameplay there (ledge grabbing, double-jumping, etc) - but I had a hard time understanding what was going on. I didn't know which was my health meter, why my ninja stars couldn't hit red guys that were throwing stars that hit me, etc. I picked the left-most level since I thought that was the beginning, and it seemed to throw me into a lot of things at once. Maybe a tutorial in the future would be helpful for players like me :) Nice work overall!

Good looking background, the foreground is lacking compared to it. One tip is to white box with prefabs, then replace the graphics in the prefab.

The double jump felt a little off, maybe reset gravity when double jumping, also can't double jump from some platforms.

Lots of content there for a game jam!

I beat the first level, not even knowing that I can attack =) Also, WOW! Boss fight was amazing!

Really enjoyed the mobility of the player, such as allowing wall jump or double jumping in order to avoid the enemy. Loving the simplistic art style, and sort of remind me of my submission last year in LD 45. Control are a bit odd in my opinion. Still, I can tell that there is a lot of effort put into the game and it shows, so good work!

The controls take getting used to, but it's very neat visually, with good sense of depth and beautiful backgrounds. Also good effort on getting a boss battle and wall jumping and different weapons in time for the jam!

Couldn't get the feel of the controls, but the look and sound are great.

Nice art, I loved the big voxel beast!
Mobility was great, double jump and wall jump are fun!
I kind of had trouble getting a handle on the controls, too much time using wasd to move has made it hard for me to switch up.

The Satoku felt pushed back to far into the background. I had trouble telling what was going on in that one

Well, that's quite a game! Low FPS made it impossible to finish the game but I really liked the idea. I like voxel graphics and the music and sounds were on the point. Cute narrative and really nice background view. As I said before low fps made it hard to play but even tho I admitted good physics. Keep it up, it's quite promising!
