Description

Keep your hungry flytrap alive with fresh water and delicious flies. Find all 50 flies before your plant runs out of food and water to win. How many attempts does it take for you to find all of the flies and complete the game?

This is my first game jam and the first game I have ever made, so feedback is more than welcome! I hope you enjoy!

Cute and fun game. Graphics are good and simple. Liked the idea. Music is friendly. Although i couldn't find all the 50, flowers i liked the game. Good job!

That was a very hungry fly trap! I couldn't find all the flowers before it died.

Nice game! I had a lot of fun with it! On the improvement side, I think the collisions could be improved as sometimes you think that you can go through but in reality you can't. I also nearly managed to get stuck somewhere

Nice little game, quite soothing, pleasant to play =D One point that could be improved: that the plant does not lose water when you are next to a water point and do not move.

The general mood was very relaxing. I like the graphics and music. Though I agree with the comments above about the water and collisions. And in my opinion the player moves too slowly while the plant dies too quickly. It was kinda unsettling that I was seeing water/food ten footsteps away, while the flytrap was almost dead, and the player character was like "wait no I'm a slow person!" xD. But overall, I enjoyed it! Nice game!

Great job for a first game :) I liked the graphics and the music, the game was very soothing overall, even while the flytrap was getting hungrier and thirstier. Adding some sound effects and making the player faster (or make the hunger and thirst decrease slower) would make this game a lot better I believe!

Hard game! I think I would speed up the movement a bit and maybe increase the size of the player sprite to make it a bit clearer how much it collides! I wanted a bit more of a rushing feeling to collect flies which faster movement would help with. But I enjoyed the mood and chill sound! Well done!

Good job!
A simple idea that could work, but I would not give the player 50 flies to catch from the get-go. Maybe start with a small level with only 10 flies, then a bigger level...

What a cute game! Love atmosphere an graphics. What was not very clear for me is that I had to bump again and again into water instead of just standing close. It doesn't feel very natural. One more minor issue - water surface on the bottom of the map didn't replenish plant's water. In general - good job!

Cute game, very hard but it's a great job for a first game, well done! It's good base to make a good short game, some feedback to warn player when life is low or some "positive" sound/visuals effects to reward players when they make the right action would be great. Music is cool but some sounds in game would be better! Anyway, great job, keep going it's a good beginning :)

Really pleasant art & music for a game jam. I do like how relaxed it feels, even though it difficult. I would suggest increasing the food time limit if you ever want to make it easier (speeding up the character might ruin the relaxing mood).
