I loved the art style and the music! The theme interpretation was also really neat. For some reason right mouse wasn't working for me. Probably a "me" thing more than anything else.

Nice Job!

The mythological themeing of this is really cool, and the pixel art has a very strong style. In a couple of places its quite difficult to tell obstacles apart from the background (rocks in the second room for example) but enemies are always nice and clear.

Cool atmosphere and music. I also liked the pixel art. The controls are somehow a bit off and throwing the javelin doesn't work if you are too close to the wall, it just disappears. There might be some bug with the walking animations as pressing left key plays the animation moving right. Also I got stuck to the walls pretty often. With some more polish this would be a neat adventure :)

I dig the concept ! This adventure was promising, however it's getting hard to hit ennemies from certain angles, the javelin disapears into wall or invisible collision hitboxes so we need practice to move on. Part of the adventure I guess :D
You can sure polish this part in order to make a solid game out of this !

Thanks guys, yes we are hoping to polish up the bugs that are currently in there, thanks very much for playing.

Theres also some balance issues, some artifacts you pickup make you too powerful - we definately are looking at ironing that out. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Nice art style and audio. Mythological theme is also really cool!
I would recommend you to add some screenshots of the game in the game description.

I found just two bugs:
at the game start if you continue to walk up or down you can go outside of the map
![opera_6LMgZxfLg9.png](///raw/1fb/53/z/38fa6.png)

and sometimes if you throw a spear standing close to a wall, the spear instantly disappear.

Nice idea for a game! My only problem is that the attack wouldn't work most of the time. :(

Nice work! Having to start all over after dying felt a bit harsh...perhaps more health pickups would be nice...

This is very fun, but the attack seems a bit slow. The music and art is great though!

The labyrinth feeling is really here and the atmosphere is oppressive and mystical in a good way.
A little thought on this is that difficulty seems more a consequence of missing or not enough tested mechanics :
- weird collisions
- camera not following the hero fast enough when you are goin down and up (certainly due to the screen aspect ratio)
- missing launch and impact sounds for the javelin

All of these are greatly reduced once you know how to avoid them, and can only be detected with tests for sure, and I'm certain you can fix them very easily! :)
Overall, it was very pleasant to play :)

Boom.. There you go 20 votes :)

The music really added to the mood but since you have opted out it's not yours (you should give credit for it).

\+ Nice pixel art

\+ Nice mood

\- Slow attacking

\- Got thrown out in the water first time I played and couldn't get back

Also an advice when you show the "You have died"-message put a timer to disable input for a second or so. Players usually are hammering the keyboard fighting so the message will accidentally be skipped.

Overall nice work for your first game :)

Nice ambience and retro art style and good choice of music. The animation is overall good, but when we move to the right the character is looking down. And the movements are a bit slack. When we stop the character continue to slide. Then it take time if we want to change direction. Due to this lack of reactivity I find the game too difficult. I didn't feel the "loop" theme, but perhaps it come later in the game? Anyway, with more energy, a better view and better reactions of the character it could be a nice game.
