Hey, nice game. Pretty solid foundation for a top down shooter. Maybe ease up on the Post Processing a bit haha, but otherwise pretty fun game.

Great theme throughout the game. I really liked the environment design and the game-over screen.
my biggest issue was the audio balancing, the explosion and music are way louder then the other sounds.
I also feel the enemies don't chase enough, if you stay far away you can snipe them without them shooting back. Never got the buying upgrade to work but maybe I didn't find the correct place to stand in. Maybe you could make a fixed buy phase after you finish a rotation? great effort overall!

Cute penguin! Overall its a bit tedious to play though. I don't think I'm ever going to have enough money to buy stuff from the shop. I think there's far too few collectible coins in there. But great job otherwise!

Good job. This has been one of my favorites of the jam. I take it art and audio is all original? If yes, great work on the models especially.

The only thing I could say is I wish the coin collection was a little easier. I had to walk around and over some coins multiple times to collect them. I'm guessing the character has a collider on him and his narrow feet keep missing the collider of the coin. But again very well done overall.

That was surprisingly addictive. I found myself just looping around and shooting and looping and shooting. I think the music is what gets you into this trance

In any case, it's a nice game and I liked the core gampelay loop (pun intended ;)). I liked that the upgrades to buy each loop were provided randomly (although I sometimes cursed the lack of HP UP ;)).

It has some things that could be improved upon, in my opinion. Because of the forced perspective, enemies will sometimes shoot at you from beyond the screen and you have no chance to avoid being hit (as you don't even see the enemy yet). I didn't like that. Coin collecting could be somewhat easier, you have to really stand on top of them now.

I think it's a nice jam job :).

I made it through 10 loops. I played around the perspective problems by getting the triple shot and just raining death upon the entire field of battle. I may or may not have laughed maniacally while doing so. No need to see your enemy when you can just pepper everything to mince meat. This has a lot of polish, though I too found myself cursing the lack of HP UPs.

I like the idea of a penguin gladiator finally getting payback on a bunch of walruses (walri?). I found it quite fun and challenging, too. I could never seem to save up enough to buy any weapon upgrades because I bought HP or died before I had enough money.

I kept wanting to move the camera so that I could get a better view of things. The fixed camera meant that some enemies were difficult to target (and it always seemed to be the ones with the automatic weapons). Still, having a locked camera meant that you had to be pretty careful just running around which added to the challenge.

Overall, good work!

Nice idea of theme implementation! Had some bugs when enemies got stuck in environment - but my first thought was "The stucked in the loop" ))

The loop was nice for a top down shooter and the characters reminded me of some Rare 64 games <3
