*Disclaimer: I didn't have time to finish the keycode so don't feel like you didn't complete it. If you figured out the numbers, you are a winner! But you are really then stuck in the loop, 100% theme met ;) *

I'm always down for a mysterious game, also with voice acting 100% better. Good job!

Love the voice acting, love the subtle hints and love the way the game fits the theme!
I wasn't able to enter the code into numpad, it was probably me trying the wrong code (4325?4523?) but it also didn't seem like the numpad is working, again it is probably because I did not find how to activate it.
Thank you for the game and for the ASMR mystery game voice acting, had a fun playing

BTW, that is one fregile vase.

Intriguing concept!

It is actually possible to win the game?

From the info given, there seem to be two possible combinations of codes - with an unlabeled keypad, this increases to four different possibilites (depending on whether the top row is 123 or 789). But neither of these four seem to work (or maybe I'm misclicking - it's hard to tell without feedback from the keypad).
It doesn't seem to be related to the order of staircases either (four different exists, but numbers from 1-5).

I think I managed to escape at some point (instead of an end wall, there was an opening to a field), but I'm not sure if I just clipped through a wall :) I did notice that at some point, the vase was unbroken.

I am not sure I do totally understand this game, but okay I had fun running around listening to the voice acting. If there is a way to break out of the loop I did not find it. The visuals is simple and okay. The game could have used a bit more sound effects or/and some music. Overall an interesting little combo game.

Solved, but couldn't enter on the keypad. I didn't see the disclaimer on your post and started digging in the source code to try to figure out the solution and saw the keypad wasn't finished lol. Very cool idea, I liked the environment and the voiced character was a nice addition. Very well done, would love to see more. Thanks!

I really like the approach. After a few tries on the numbers, I came back to see if something was missing xD. The voice acting was a nice touch! I definitely played more time than what I tought I would (I guess it was the mystery well matched to the theme). Good work!

Very clever, nicely implemented and a great little experience. Lot of work for a 48 hour gamejam, and very impressive.

I've tried quite a few combinations and variations, but the numbpad doesn't seem to be working at all. Is it possible to get out?
Nice concept, but I don't know how to proceed.

Apologises, I put a mention in the game description above in the disclaimer that I was not able to finish the keypad. I really appreciate your feedback.

Outside of the broken keypad, this is nicely done. I like the simplistic art style and the voice sfx were spot on. I hope you continue on with this.

I really liked the idea of the unending staircase. The puzzles were pretty easy once I put on my headphones. lol Unfortunately couldn't enter the code as you mentioned, but all in all pretty nice!

I always love me some escape room puzzles. This idea has a lot of potential, moving up and down staircases and ending up in the same room could be an owesome effect if done seamlessly.
Gathering hints and coming up with the solution was really nice, escpecially with the voice acting.
The movement is really slippery, slidey and way too fast. These detective games should feel slow and deliberate. Carefully walking around and explorering every nook and cranny.

I would love to see more of you in the future!

Hey ! I liked the infinite staircase loop. However, it had no incidence on the resolution (from what I understood since spoiler: all four numbers are freely given) and also the loop was not so well executed since we can see the loading plus object appear in the room. You could have made the room change when you go up and down and use it for your enigma. I dunno, like clock passing an hour when you go up and revert one when you go down, but it never goes on three, for example. Apart from that, voice is always nice and it's still is a nice game for a one-man team. Keep up the good work !

nice work A+ for the idea but mechanics need some work : mouse sensitivity is too high and the player speed is hard to control , voice over was low in some sentences , good work in short amount of time
