This is a really nice game, I like it, though it becomes harder and harder to play as time passes, I think you should make it a little bit easier

The music is cool and the rts like gameplay is a lot of fun. A goal would've been nice, like maybe the queen evolving or building up the beehive.

I had the feeling that i got weaker over time, because the enemies got more and more...

A cool way to do a simple RTS, the mechanics worked pretty well and it was quite fun. It seems like the resource drop rate is really low so it's hard to get much other than guard bees and I can rarely get upgrades because of that too. I think a higher resource drop rate and a couple more fighting unit types would be a great addition.

Simple nice game, lot of ressource management. But the game might have feel a lot better with less features upgrade and units and more polish of a more limited gameplay

Cool RTS Game! I like the difficulty progression.. I was like i already have a lot of bee lot of upgrade.. is this all of it? then the black mantis come and boom I died. wish i can select only several guard only instead of all of them.

Its good to see strategy games in jams and this is a great example why we need more, my only complain might be the ui hides a part of the map maybe you could anchor it to left or bottom

Pretty engaging game and an original concept.

Some cooldown indication on abilities would be nice - would save a player unnecessary clicking.

Great work, Unfortunately for me the menu appeared in the middle of the screen?

@mlkvr @arowx

We made the game with size 1280x720 in mind. Could be the page is zoomed in a bit for you. I think anchor's are not correctly set, which screws up the UI position when in a different screen size.

I'll remember to pay more attention to this for next game jam.

A nice RTS game! Three problems with it:

1. Itch.io window size is set to 1600x900. That made the entire UI not work as it should be - even the buttons in the menu didn't appear to detect clicks properly, like the button area was moved away from the actual button sprite. Try editing your game window size on Itch.io game page and see if that helps.
2. I guess most of this problem stems from the above, too. The game doesn't really explain itself well. I tried constructing some units, but they rarely actually appeared after clicking buttons in the build menu. I don't know if it's the UI problem or some game mechanic I don't understand. There's the "+1 egg" upgrade in the upgrade menu, but it seemed to me like it only worked once, and without the ability to construct more units it was difficult to stay alive for a long time.
3. Also a UI problem - since the UI covers the area where my worker bees are working, it's impossible to see if something comes from the bottom of the screen and attacks them.

Other than those issues, it's a good idea. I was happy to see an RTS entry in this jam. Well done! ;)

Very nice game. Took a little time to work out what I was doing (mainly noticing the costs for the units) but then it was a very fun game. Fun and different to the other games I've played. Maybe the option for a little more fine control might be useful (e.g. send fighters to different spots in groups)

Also some form of score and high score would make it even better.

Nice game, wish that there was more feedback on whether the worker bees are going to collect something I left-clicked, because no one was collecting the things I click... also would be great if I could send guards to different places instead of all to one place!

Muy buen juego, divertido. Buena experiencia. Algunas abejas se buggean cuando intentás clickear el drop de los enemigos. Cuando llegás a 1280 en spawn rate, el juego deja de tener spawn y se vuelve un clicker.

I didn't know how to pick up resources that are far away :( . then I read your description :)

@abdurrahman-khallouf There is a final boss, if you kill it you win the game.

Wow, unique entry! Creating RTS for such small amount of time is pretty hard task.

Absolutely loved the game. Nice idea and great execution.
It has a learning curve but that's fine with RTS games.

Great job! :)

Nice job! I liked the way it was a strategy game, but still managed to keep it simple. If there's one thing I'd suggest, it would probably be to make the units cost a bit more. It seemed like the main limiting factor was always egg count.
