I like the camera and the way the controls are presented.
I can't get past the first door, even if I light the fire, is there no more gameplay? If so, I would have liked to see more.
You can also add some info about the game in te description, I don't know if it is only a little demo or I'm missed something.
Please, keep working on it! :)
@darksaytan There is much more to the game than the first room. If you haven't already, please try burning the leaves on the wall with your lantern!
Nice puzzles and environment, really nice audio, the character controller is really nice, although moving the tail when holding shift could be easier.
Again, awesome work ! :D I reached a room (the first one where you have to use the Q+E) with three flamable leaves going up, and i can't find how to get past it, i try burning them all at the same time, tried reaching the leaves behind the kind of "tower" the leaves are in, is it the end or is there more beyond ?
Good job ;)
Had a lot of fun with it. id be interested to see more.
I did find the controls confusing at first, but I think that was mostly due to the wall-of-text presentation of them. It would be nice to see more usage of the tail rotation as a puzzle mechanic to justify the existence of those controls over a simple context-sensitive "light this thing on fire" button - like perhaps dodging it back and forth through a sort of slalom of water streams.
The art is very well polished and cohesive (I don't know how many artistes have done it), but my congratulations.
The sound is perfect, it fits perfectly and the quality is 10.
Nothing more than telling the truth, to be a team with so many people it shows that you have communicated very well and that you had the clear idea from the beginning.
Keep doing projects like this fellas! :D
Now I have to say that camera are great except in some parts In the level with the big rotating cylinder the camera makes difficult some jumps, and this part is a little bit frustrating because you lose the fire easy and you have to do all way back to get it again, until you turn on the first lamppost of the chamber.
I don't know how is control de tail and the character at the same time with a controler, but in the keyboard is hard. I'm talk about the part of the wind and where you have to keep the fire out of water. We were two playing these parts, one controled the player and other the tail xD
The time to do some puzzles are very fair, and the final of the game... it's great, but I was thinking "They are trying to shown me something o the are just kidding me?" That part feels like if you were trying to guide me to the Thruth. I think that would be nice if you show the names of the creators in that huge final zone, while you are looking for the end, maybe when you turn on some lampposts. More interesting that show them in a white screen, don't you? :P
And maybe really have an end, because you stay in the white screen but you can still move the character and don't have option to exit xD
But nothing to say if this is a three-days game, nice work :)
Some of the puzzles were a bit awkward to execute -- and the jumping sections ended up being very tedious, but the general idea here is great!
