Way to go! I really enjoyed the different art styles, reminded me of Evoland, nice story and execution

Very unique game. Loved all the different art styles. Mood was well done, beautiful but bleak.
I did have some issues with the controls at first, though. I thought there was an issue with the game at the beginning. I kept trying to click on things and using the WASD keys to move. Finally realized you use the arrow keys. May help to write the controls on the itch page so it doesn't happen to other folks.

I like the idea even tho i didnt understand much. I had an issue with controls and would've loved to see a short tutorial, furthermore music would've been appreciated to really set the mood. Great art tho.

Good storytelling.

!> I laughed at the cop-out ending.

I'm impressed by the amount of graphical content in different artistic styles. Why no sound? You could have done the same kind of thing.

The switching between styles was intriguing, but broke immersion for me. Felt more like an exploration of styles than a game. Still, it was impressive that you managed to produce this amount and variety of content in just a few days. As others have pointed out, some audio and music would really help. Also missed WASD controls, just used to having that.

Good immersion and a creative take on the theme! It could use some more interaction from the user, as right now the user only has to search for things and nothing else, but I understand it is hard to make more during the limited timeframe. Anyway, I enjoyed it, so congratulations!

I liked the art style, but the controls need some work. Sometimes the character gets stuck

really interesting with the switching of styles. simple sfx for such things as walking would have helped a lot with the feel of the game.

[So sorry we forgot to update the game title on stream!!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/773934372?t=01h38m19s) Thanks for bein' a good sport about it!

I think we said pretty much everything we wanted to say about this one on stream. Just want to reiterate that I really really enjoyed this one. I always respect folks who take the plunge to try and do something more serious for LD. It's a super scary thing to do, but in y'all's case I'd say it definitely worked out. Very nice job!

I really liked the switch between different art styles, it's a really cool thing to do. The controls felt a bit slippery, like sometimes I slid around a bit. Reminds me a bit of a bleaker version of the game Every Day The Same Dream. Didn't care for the ending personally, though - it sort of invalidated the whole mood. Still, it's a good game, especially considering some of your team were doing this for the first time!

I like how each loop through the environment is different as a result of the character's state of mind. I was worried the story would turn out much darker, as that is what it felt like it was building up to.

The game was really weird and unexpected and I really liked it. The art styles are really nice and unique but the lack of sound takes off part of the experience (although it's probably because of a lack of development time). A solid game, good job!

btw, I liked the Minecraft easter egg ;)

Really good! It would have been perfect with some sounds, but it still transmitted the right mood
