Hey, I tried to play but it game me an error asking if the pck file is missing

I really like the play on hot potato. This game was really fun, I enjoyed playing through the levels. Dashing to save last minute potatoes felt very good. Keep up the good work!

You should probably upload a zip with both the exe and the pck files. I think some people are having difficulty playing your game because right now they are separate downloads.

The difficulty ramps up quick with multiple potatoes! I'm still trying to make it past level 3... it's easy enough until the potatoes collide, then it's chaos.

My team also made a hot potato themed game! Glad to see this interpretation of the theme getting the love it deserves :smile:

This game definitely put a smile on my face! After some of the other games being serious or drab this one put quite a spin on things. A very fun idea and I had a blast playing it.

Deceptively fun gameplay! I can tell a lot of love went into the making of the chef, specifically. With a little "guided randomness" in the potato balancing there's some real potential for a compelling loop. Text would have been better without italics, and I'd like to hear some sort of noises, even if it's just stock sound effects or mouth sounds.

Funny but need finishing. Overall a good idea. keep it up.

Fun concept, really ! I like a lot potatoes, so I was happy to play with them :D

The graphic style is quite nice, and the controls feel responsive, however that it was a bit hard for my taste.

yes i probably should upload a zip file, thanks for the input. Potatoes are very cool, and i can safely say are the most versatile food.

thanks for the input! I tried to limit the amount the potatoes could move on the x axis and increase the amount on the y axis to increase reaction time and make it more balanced. I definitely will not have italics in my next game, so thanks for the tip. Also, as far as sounds go, I have never used sound in a game, and although wanted some background music, didn't have time to implement any. This is actually my first game jam, and only 4th month of game dev, so thanks for the advice!

It was fun balancing my favourite food around, though I would have liked a bit more variation in the gameplay. Still great submission, keep at it!

I liked it, it was very cute and interesting. My only gripe is if you can make the download a zip file with otht eh.zip and .pck file in it. This makes it a lot more convenient for the player to download, other than that: great entry!

The graphics are pretty sharp and there are some really funny animations!
The potatoes' trajectories would deserve some tweaks in order to make the game even more fun, but congrats overall!
