Controls

Left Click - Select objects/Drop Objects into play Right Click - deletes tools on the screen Mouse Wheel - Rotates either the Wall, or the Ladder, which you don't "really" need to do but you still can

So, the game is pretty neat. I had just about gotten to the end when I missed a ladder placement and...

So there are a couple bugs. Nonetheless, the game is fun.

I like the object placement mechanic, it's a bit frustrating having to restart from the beginning each time but I had fun playing, so good job

@massassen Thank you so much for playing!

@jojo-the-clown I appreciate you giving our game a try. Yeah, there are some bugs but I feel like what we made give a good indication of the idea we were trying. Thank you!

@brachistosauro Thanks for giving our game a test run. I'm really glad you had fun playing!

Cool idea. There seem to be a few bugs with the mechanics, sometimes the creature wouldn't die when I placed the trampoline wrong and it hit the ground, and at one point it walked into a trampoline, got boosted really far up, and fell down and splattered all over my screen.

I'm not sure if having physics on the objects you place really does much for the gameplay. I'd rather have the objects stay where I place them.

The jumping off ledges also took me by surprise a bit. I was expecting it to just walk off, so I placed a trampoline near the bottom of the ledge, but the creature just yeeted itself over it. :D

Interesting game play definitely fits with the theme of keeping something alive. I like the 3 item limit of each item because it adds a bit of strategy to placements and prevents players from throwing down a bunch of platforms whenever they feel like. The different materials that can be placed down is also creative, especially being able to make the player smaller. It would have been nice to have another level for more play-time, but overall nice work.

That was a prrety cool concept, I really like how the character was preparing to interact with different situations (even if most of them were pretty simple, still impressive). There were some issues here and there, but overall a good entry!

Either I'm just dumb or there is a quite severe bug (in the mac version at least) where the toolbar isn't visible at all. Tried to click everywhere and press every button on the keyboard with no luck...

Neat idea! Pro tip though: Opt out of audio if you don't have any. It'll just bring down your other scores

Very creative gameplay, I like it. Fits theme perfectly, art is a bit weak though but gameplay makes up for it. There doesnt seem to be audio though maybe you should remove audio rating?

I actually had a lot of fun :).. great idea. Approaching a letter at the bottom is fine, but jumping against the top of it will make you explode. I had to learn that the hard way :D. Don't change a thing, just add more levels and some sound.

Hey! I really enjoyed your game due to the amount of freedom given to the player on how to tackle the next obstacle. I wish there were more levels but I understand it was probably due to the lack of time. I also would have enjoyed more harder obstacles like that last spike pit where you had to use multiple objects fast. Overall a very fun game, good job!

This was all done by a single contributor? Impressive. I think adding some music/sounds then you get a chance, and maybe some indication as to how close to the goal you are will help improve this game

Thank you all so much for taking the time to give our game a play!

@prodigalson Actually it was a team effort. I did most of the designing, and my coder did all of the programming. Thanks for giving our game a chance!

A very interesting idea. It reminds me of the old game lemmings, only with a single creature to keep alive. It fits the theme very well. It could use some sound though, and the graphics clip sometimes. Otherwise, very nice.
