I thought this game was really awesome, but the game froze when I was in the bedroom :(

This has a lot of charm and manages to make RPG maker not look or feel like it. Bravo! If you made a full version I'd play it.

Pretty charming game. That choice of sounds effect for conversation was little unfortunate in my opinion.

Awesome game! This game has a type of charm that makes you feel like you are part of that small world. I'm sure this can become a really great game with more content and lore.

That was amazing! Great art, the parts of the story we've seen are charming. I don't know if the questions are random, but I got the same two questions twice, but that's just a minor thing. I also really like playing games with a controller so that's cool too. Good job :).

@tygrak Thanks for playing! 'Charming' is all I hope for. There are about 3 questions, chosen at random, so I expect you'd see repeats :)

@rudenko Thanks! Controls were my focus, so much so that I forgot to add a second player or actual soccer match mode! Maybe one day.

@dooskington Aw that's a bummer! I tried to recreate this but couldn't see it broken, I have just uploaded a web version which will maybe work for you, thanks for letting me know!

Update: Have added a web platform version (it should detect supported browsers) and corrected 1 typo. In keeping with the competition rules there are no other major changes.

Really nice clean art and cute little story. I am impressed you have developed this in only 48 hours!

I'm surprised you have only included controller support since most people will be accessing this website via pc/mac but understand this may of been down to time constraints.

I think you may need to increae the deadzone on the analog sticks as i was never able to have my character still. I know this can be a common fault with controllers over time but i have never had any problems with other games and mine is fairly new.

No big deal, but you have mispelt "training" as "trainign" on both here and itch.io.

Really great solo achievement! :D

Such a cute little game! It wasn't clear to me how to get more POWER until I finally answered one of the questions right, so I guess POWER actually means smarts :D
I think the theme falls a bit short here, even though I did play the keep it alive game to a score of 76 once.
With a bit more balancing and a few more additions this could be a really cool game and it is definetly a really impressive compo entry!

I really dug this game. A sports theme RPG makes me think of a career mode that I would actually want to play. Some skill required, but still a whole life sim (I envision a Persona-style life sim sort of thing) that impacts your player and skills and career. :)

Really great job!

Seems weird to me not supporting keyboard atleast. Sticks can map to WASD and IKJL, and other buttons near those keys. It would atleast allow player without a controller to play.

Neat idea! I'll admit, I'm a little confused where the theme plays into it, but either way I'm really impressed you pulled off a game so wide in scope for a LD. That said, that scope might be to it's detriment a little - I felt like a lot of the game was sort of half-realized, whether it be minor bugs or lack of content. I feel like focusing more on the soccer aspect would do the game more justice, but that's just my take on it. Also, the footstep sounds were a little buggy and became kind of annoying to listen to after a bit.
That all said, still, congrats on putting together something so ambitious!

Very hard to started playing, I had to connect my controller and download a new browser xD But I was surprised that the game has a hole story line and is a mix out of management and action soccer. The scope of the game seems huge! Unfortunatly I had a gamebreaking bug (HTML5) and did not want to start from the beginning again.

But impressed of how complete it seems and a very nice genre mix!

I would like to try your game but I don't have those Xbox-thingies. Seems interesting! Thank you for your lovely comment in our Porco-game.
