Great game, fun and a lot easier once you realize you can hold down shoot. I suggest making the bullets bigger, they were kinda hard to see.

After playing a few times, there's no way I'm gonna win, but wow this is well made! I love the graphics and little animations, and the audio is fitting too. The font looked a little blurry but other than that everything blended really well together with some pretty satisfying gameplay.

The game is super hard, but this is awesome work for being a beginner! Somehow I got the machine gun which made the game's pacing easier, but then I lost it and I'm not sure what made me lose the machine gun.

I love it. You said it is your first game jam and what a game. The little shortcut was a nice detail. One thing I want to point out if that bullets are almost invisible. I'm colorblind and almost didn't see them, I would make them bigger and add some kind of outline if you want to keep the color. Really nice buddy!

Very nice look to this game, my biggest concern was seeing the bullets, a little outline or something would be nice. Apart from the gameplay this is very much like my game, was fun to see how something so similar could be this different :)

That was so much fun!! It took me 6 tries to beat the game, and I was pumped when I won. (I figured out a good strategy is hanging out by the tires of the bus; that's where your diagonals hit the choppers. And if you don't see any choppers, alternate spamming left + right along the road).

My only issue was that the bullets are hard to see. If you make them white with a dark-colored outline, it'll be easier to see them.

i'm really glad that all of you enjoyed my game!

@symnel it's not a battery, it's supposed to look like energy fuel or something like that but i guess it didn't LOL, what it does is make you slightly faster, but it's really hard to notice, i made a mistake and made the increase really low.

@mrfluffysheep that's a powerup, it's supposed to make you shoot faster for 4-5 seconds.

@stevis93 @rjerez192 @thooom @mikesalyh i know, the bullets are pretty small, should've changed that when i had the time.

Thank you for all your feedback! I appreciate that you liked my game! :)

@noamraz it happens sometimes, it happened to me too, idk why, you just refresh the page and then it goes back to normal.

That was a fun game! Hope you had just as much fun making it. I thought that the mechanic of protecting the bus was a really good take on the theme and it was intuitive to play. One small thing is that I found the audio to be quite repetitive after a while because the song was a very short loop. The powerups were fun to use! Hope this wasn't your last jam because I'd love to see more. Great job!

Enjoyed playing this, very impressive for your first game jam submission! The pixel art characters were very well done. Having it so that the motorbike drives forward when you shoot upwards made it more interesting to play as well because you can't just stay in one spot.

I really like the little attention to details, the parallax background, the enemy bodies that stay on the road. Its a fun little game, I did have trouble clearing it but had a good time doing so. The music did feel a bit repetative at times, but not enough to be a issue imo. Good work!

Hi! I played your game on-stream last night. Thanks for sharing it!

I love the high-octane action vibe. Motorcycle shootouts on a desert highway at high speeds; what's not to love? Congrats on your first game jam - you really rocked it!

I found that sometimes if I needed to back up a bit in order to hit a helicopter that was too close, I would have to actually turn around and shoot in the wrong directions for a few seconds in order to position myself correctly. It might be neat to try a version where - instead of only being able to aim in 4 directions based on the direction the motorcycle is facing - you allow the player to aim with the cursor and shoot in 360 degrees regardless of which way the motorcycle is facing.

Great submission - quite a thing to accomplish in 48 hours! Well done.

When I realized that you can just hold Z to shoot with a fast speed, the game went to another level of fun! Well done!
