Keep the critters alive so that you to may thrive.

How to play:

Use your abilities to help the critters survive. Critters need enough food and water to stay alive and duplicate. Nice little game, dificulty was ok i think - for a game jam, it helps to play longer and not drop it after 5 seconds

eat, drink and procreate...why would they ever want to leave? did i kill them in the end? this tree is evil isn't it...
all joking aside this was refreshingly chill, well done!

I really like this. It's a nice, calm experience. I really love the imagery of the life giving tree with all the critters around it. To that end, my biggest complaint, I think there are too many particle effect, they get in the way of the calmness and nice graphics - which honestly isn't much. I really like how the game ends. Great job!

I thought the relaxed pacing was fitting. Happy to have freed my critters.

It got chaotic at the end and I was stressed trying to keep them all fed, but I guess they all get ..."freed" at the end anyways :-) Very cute game, I love these kinds of pet games. The story you spun around it is really sweet too.

Awwwwwwwwwww they are so cute, idk why I feel like that but it's just a chill game, I love chill games !!! I had tones of critters at the end, the free critter option is so perfect, letting them live their lives is such a good moment. really lovely!
(Just a little suggestion, you should put all your ingame drawable object (you draw the ui as usual) in one loop to draw them ordered by y (so you have to add them into a single list like "drawable" and sort the list by the y property), it will allow to draw correctly because right now if the critters are behind are tree they are draw in front for example which make it looks bad. Glad to see some other love2d user ;)

Very cute! Played till the end. Didn't mind if it was a little easy, it was fun the whole time. Rewarding.

I couldn't figure out what the "heal all" ability was for. I would have like to see some sort of monster that the player would have to keep a look out for and chase away.

Regardless, cute little game!

The critters are free! The difficulty was just fine for me. I've learned it again and again: better too easy than too hard. And yet the lesson still hasn't totally stuck...
