Gaia by Caveman54
This is a game about indirectly keeping a civilization alive. The civilization will expand and grow by itself but it is your job to protect and nurture it. Along the way you will have to terraform the environment to thwart your enemies and empower your friends. Are you worthy enough to play god?

There is a lot of different tiles in the game, the bigger your civilization the more tiles that could spawn. Every single tile on the map can be upgraded to another tile, for example the forest upgrades into a mill.
You can also defile your enemies civilization by summoning a meteor to crash down upon them.

My Score:

There was some 'stickiness' with the mouse controls and clicking (particularly if you didn't have enough Influence to terraform) which was sub-optimal. Also, that Mountain sprite *really* stuck out.
Great game -- great job!
Also, found the tutorial super useful and very well implemented. It holds your hand in a very nice way.
Overall, a pretty ambitious game to make for LD, I think you did a good job of executing on the mechanics, but would love to have seen a more integrated tutorial and more direct feedback loop. Best of luck.
I _really_ like this idea, and I feel like you guys did a great job executing it. The meteor wasn't described in the tutorial, but to be honest that made finding it accidentally a lot more interesting. My one complaint is that the building sound was a little loud, and once exponential growth kicked in it started getting kind of hard to listen to. Other than that though, great job!
