I like the backstory of this game. Too bad it was so short !

Good job anyway !

Interesting idea, like a tower defense game. Definitely has some potential to be expanded, more levels, etc.

Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

Cool entry, with quite an interesting take on the theme. I was already sold when I checked the turrets, and then saw who the first mob units were :D

I was expecting more levels after the first, but other than that the game feels solid, with nice art and a fitting music choice.

Great job!

Fun tower defense game! My only problem was that it was too easy, I was able to win with random towers.

I love tower defence games. Your game looks really good! If you have time it would be nice to have multiple waves and some form of currency to make the game more strategic.

The tutorial didn't teach me the differences between the towers, it would be nice to know it.

Placing Towers is free as far as i can tell and there is no way to upgrade them? There needs to be some game mechanic to keep the player involved. That's not a big problem because currently there is only one wave, but if you wanted to expand on it there needs to be something to do after the first placement.

The fade in/out transitions in the tutorial took quite a lot of time. Try to keep the duration of them to a minimum so they don't distract from the actual content.

Otherwise the graphics are good and the theme fits quite well.

I like the visuals, but it's very short and easy. Weird to have just one enemy but three different types of weapon.

Visuals and music are nice, I liked them! But I didn't really understand the difference between the different "tower" I was building and I got the "win" message before the last ennemies were defeated, i don't really know why.
Exceot these little things I had fun playing it even if it could have been a little bit more challenging. GG <3

There was a good mood in the game, it was short but funny... but short haha :sob:

A like music and visuals. And I like your theme idea it's very unique. I also made a td so I know it's hard to make good job

I like the concept. Although I couldn't really tell what the difference between the 3 types of towers were. So I wasn't sure what trade-off I was making when I built a bunch of the same tower rather than a few of each.

The music loop has this gross "click" at (presumably) the point where it loops. Fortunately it's entire fixable, I've helped enough LDer's fix this problem I made a quick video about how to fix it

I really like the concept. Got to protect your mind from the clutter. I think the art was really well done and I like the music too. As far as I'm aware I don't think I was spending any resources to create units. I think making that clear to the player would be a cool addition.

This was a great start to a tower defense game. I hope you keep working on it after the jam is finished.

Interesting idea but the tower defense mechanics were pretty strange. Could be a very nice game though if you invest some more time in adding more levels, towers, enemies, etc.!

Theme is good ! But the core mechanics needs some little adds. There must be points when defeat an enemy to renforce or buy more towers. What is the difference between the 3 types of towers ? Maybe imagine that terraplanist can't be defeated by archer, and reptilian or whatever, by an other type of towers.

Very original idea.

The tower defense system works well, it just missing a win/spend money system to equilibrate the game.
Also add effects to make fire shot more juicy and more difference between towers.

Nice job.

Very innovative concept, certainly needs a little more work on the gameplay but it has potential!

We loved the game! The visuals and the sounds are both lovely. My daughter said this is exactly what she thinks it would be like inside her brain. Great job! :grinning:

Interesting take on the theme, though I found the gameplay lacking. I did like the cute images for the towers, it's pretty abstract and a very different spin on the traditional tower defence aesthetic.

I liked the message you were trying to convey and the style the game was presented in. The intro text made it sound like there would be more levels, but then it ended after the first one. I would love to see an expanded game in the future, but this was good for a LD entry.

Hey, come on, you know I can't control the information I consume. Why you gotta give me false hope like that.

Keep your brain alive is definitely one that I haven't seen yet, and a message that is all too relevant in our troubled times.

Like the idea of the game but felt like just so easy and a casual tower defense game but love the little thing you done in that good work jammer.

Nice idea, and well done ! There is no information on what differences there are between the towers, or why the towers are not shooting. I suspect a fire rate and a reload time, but it would be great to have feedbacks indicating the player what is going on.

Aha, funny intro. The game is quick and quite easy once everything is set up, a bit too much.

I really liked the premise, although I'm not sure how much it fit the theme. The sounds and music were lovely, and the graphics were and did a good job of representing what they were.

Would have nice to have more levels and enemies, and some kind of restriction on building towers, as well as some information on their trade off, but it's a nice start on a tower defense game, and has more interesting theming than most!

@laura-del-pino Interesting take on the theme, that's what I call thinking outside of the box (or inside of the mind), good job for that. I think there should have been some way to show the benefits of each tower ie: range, power, rate of fire, etc... With more clarity there and some more time to balance the game it could be a winner.

You had me with the genre, already. I love, love, love Tower Defense. Theme nailed. I already tried to find the optin to upgrade the towers, so...I'd play it further :D

The theme of the game is very interesting, especially considering our current world haha. The game is a bit too easy however, I was rather surprised when I just found out it was just one level. Would've been interesting to see more levels with more mechanics, as it is rather simple (though it is a jam game so I can't fault you).

The towers could've been fleshed out more, as they just do the same thing (unless there's differences that I may have overlooked).

Still, nice job on the game.

Nice little game, but the gameplay is very short. But I know how little time 3 days are, when you are working alone on a whole game including art.

Nicely done! The graphics look great, the music fits, and the gameplay works, so that's all the basics covered :)
More levels would be good, or just more waves of nonsense, but game jams are short...
