Use anything you can get a hold of as fuel for the fire!

Controls:
Movement -- WASD / Arrow Keys
Punch/Pickup/Throw -- Space / Left Click

Tools used: - Haxe / HaxeFlixel (Game engine) - FLStudio (Music/SFX) - Pyxel Edit (Art) - Tiled (Level design)

the issue I had is that the hit box for the fire is a bit small from the side and I often trow the log way pass the bonfire
-Make hit boxes a bit more lenient
-Speed everything up so it doesn't feel as sluggish
-Maybe add a score system of some kind
-Make it a bit more clear that you can throw the enemies into the fire. Took me awhile to realize that. (Probably just because I'm slow though lol)
We also made a fire feeding game, though a very different style. :)
I’m still not sure if the man with a gun is shooting you or zombies though ;)
Greato Jobu!
The only finicky part for me was that picking up the logs required me to be in some precise position. Too many times I was frustrated by the log being not picked up even when I was right next to it and button mashing to pick it up. Some leeway there would be nice to alleviate the difficulty. A couple of times I threw the log and it got hidden behind a tree! Can I suggest making the tree semi-transparent when the player goes behind one?
Overall, I quite enjoyed the game even if I never managed to beat the game.
Love the audio, the retro visuals, the gameplay was fun. It's a little too easy for enemies to get in the way of the throws, but this game is still a gem.
Despite the simplicity, I love everything about this. The difficulty curve, the introduction of increasingly absurd "enemies", and the incredibly straightforward mechanics.
Really solid entry!
Thanks for playing!
