SPAM Simulator 2015 by Skazma

[raw]
made by Skazma for LD34 (JAM)
Those pesky SPAM emails are cluttering your inbox again! It's up to you to find the SPAM and throw it to the junk folder where they belong, but beware! You don't want to go deleting all those important real emails!

Controls:
Space - Next email
Delete - Choose option/Delete Email

Score:
Inbox - Total, non-deleted emails
Junk - SPAM emails that were successfully deleted
Deleted - Non-spam emails that were accidentally deleted

We recommend you score yourself based on the ratio between Junk and Deleted.

This is our first Ludum Dare entry, and was used mostly as an opportunity to learn how to use the programs we did for making games. We hope to submit something more serious and game-ey next time.

This looks funny, but I wasn't able to run it on Windows 7: there was no executable in the zip.

I love it! Poor J. Cena and his father :( One issue though: the executable isn't labeled as such so I had to rename to file myself to run it.

Now, that's a great concept! Ever wanted to be a spam filter? Well, now you can. And - I'll be damned - from what I see game is even moddable! You can add more addresses and messages to .txt files. Really nice.
(Little heads up, guys - "SPAM Simulator 2015" is missing ".exe" extension, had to add it manually).

Like the others, I had to add ".exe" to the end of the "SPAM Simulator 2015" file in order to run the game. Looks like you may have deleted this part when renaming the file? The game is quite good, though it scrolls a bit too fast for me to really read anything. Looks like you use Enter instead of Space (in your desc) to move to the next email.

Not a bad entry, a good take on the theme.

I wonder if that unlicenced Outlook is a screenshot ^_^

I really wanted to play this one, I added the .exe to the end of the "SPAM Simulator 2015" file but when run, it brings up only a still image and I can't interact with it in any way :(

This was so original! I genuinely laughed out loud at some of the combinations that were created, and it's awesome that you included the lists as text files alongside the executable. This fits the theme nicely as well, of course.

Great job!
