We are a couple and this is our first entry together! :heart: We were too ambitious at the beggining and we failed at doing some of the planned mechanics. :cry: But we manage to make an complete game with what we have! In any case, we learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing it. We're both very proud of what we could do with just two of us in so little time.

KNOWN BUGS
- ~~:warning: In some browsers, the web version has a bug with the camera rotation. Since it is using the right click of the mouse, depending on the browser you are using, it will handle as a click in the website, which will remove the focus on the game causing your inputs to be stucked :pensive: sorry for this!~~
- ~~Highlight outline won't work on some objects~~
- ~~Sometimes the weapons don't appear properly after you found it~~
- Sometimes you can get stuck by the NPCs on the walls
BUG FIXES
2020/05/01
- Changed the input for camera rotation to left click instead of right click because it was breaking the game in some browsers
- Fixed the interaction's objects highlight. Now it outlines the whole object. (before it was outlining just some parts e.g. chair's feets)
- Removed weapon's interaction (pick and throw) since it does nothing and was confusing the players

Overall a pretty fun game!
Still what was there was rather neet and I'd certainly welcome more!
Yeah, the game was not optmized at all, sorry for that! ^^'
The game is pretty easy when you realize how the tips are made, but based on the feedbacks I'm receiving from friends it is not that easy to find out how it works. (which is a problem of this game btw).
Being more clear on what place you are was on our radar, maybe putting a small sign above the doorways, but we didn't have the time to implement. For now, you can just see it in the map (pressing space) but we definetely will improve this in the future!

Finding out who is the killer is a lot easier when you understand how the tips are given to you. If you want to try again sometime and want some spoilers, read this:

look for the suspect which presents the most angrier emotions and if you see the red one, you found it. After that, you just need to look what places the suspect is related to (in the cards menu) and try to find the weapon hidden in this place. Doing this you have the correct Suspect/Place/Weapon.

Glad you liked it! We thought about doing this at least a 2 player game and one is the killer and one is the victim. Some references for what we thought is the multiplayer mode os Assassins Creed III and the good old one Spy vs Spy. :smile:

i personally didn't encounter the camera bug. i'm on opera from windows.
Can I find your game also on indiexpo website? The channel is linked with them.
There was a moment when the move buttons stopped reacting. Would be nice some improvements on camera movements, especially when character is around the corner and you can't rotate camera anymore, and you can't see what is he doing there. Or maybe, this is the bug you where talking about. Overall the game makes a good impression.

The music was a bit repetitive, I think that song could of worked with a little more variation. and I would of loved to have heard sound effects like walking around hearing guests chit chat. I think there was a noise when I got the murder weapon. but I imagine sound was the last thing put in the game which happens a lot with me too haha.

That chair that is always highlighted is indeed a glitch, however for that reason it wasn't able to hide weapons. Maybe you found the weapon in other place but it didn't showed properly (which is another bug :disappointed_relieved:).

That was on purpose because in the beginning we had other plans on how to investigate and the guests getting in your way was part of the challenge, but I agree that it can be annoying sometimes. By the way, they can stuck you forever in the doorways. :confused:

Yeah, reading the comments and collecting feedbacks that was something we could have done. :sweat_smile: We thought it would make the game much easier.

I think I had the killer but since I found 3 weapon in her 2 designated place, I tried 2 but couldn't get the last xp to try my third time, even though I went through all the romm 3 times x/
Maybe having some margin for the xp could be nice =)
Took me a few tries to figure out how it worked. Eventually got a win out of it... :sweat_smile:
I almost can't believe this was done in just a weekend.
