God this is some nightmare fuel and I love it. Game would glitch if I just clicked the box at the beginning and didn't drag it. Took me a minute to figure out what to do. Good job!

hahahaaa thanks Kyle! I'd say that your giant baby is equally as horrifying! Jeroen has fixed that starting bug now. Thanks for playing!

Oh wow- I kinda wrote this off for a moment because of that bug- so glad I came back. This is so good. Very innovative and super cool. The graphics are great- the interface is juicy and the sound is so good. I just kept the start screen creepy chill jam on for some ambience after. One of the best of the jam for sure - why? Jeff.

Wowwwwwwwwwwww this is something new! The visual and audio style are superb, and the controls are super-nice. It's quite hard, but I reckon I'll crack it when I come back for another go...

Jeff, I'm so sorry you died so many times.

This is well worth arguing with the browser to allow flash games. :)
Brilliant wordless tutorialising, and great fun to discover the rules.

this game is oddly satisfying, fresh and different approach to the theme.

It has a very interesting approach to the theme of "Keep It Alive." Once I got the hang of it, I had so much fun trying to recharge the batteries and keep him running! Overall a great game!

Okay I came crawling back and got to (I think?) the end, amazing!

The audio in this game is top-notch. I also like the visuals. The screen shot in the LD forum really caught my attention. The difficulty level is too high for me but I did make a bit of progress with practice.

10/10 holy shit i loved this game! I don't know if i saw the ending of it since everytime i got to the TV the screen goes black and restarts. But i gladly would replay it again and recommend to others. great game!

Thank you all for your feedback!

@leekanarchism @gzuis seems like you've gotten pretty far! I think the end is a bit unclear, but once you found true love, you know you've reached it. Tip: the batteries can power the TV

Ahh, this is so cool looking  I like the mechanic - though I wish it had been pushed a bit further!

ahhh cheeers @terry! Jeff has some arm sockets for stuff that we couldn't make in time! I definitely could gave better visually communicated the function of the head though...

Hey! This has to be my favorite game so far. I haven't loved a title screen this much since... I don't know when. And there aren't many jam games that you get to learn so naturally; I loved figuring this out through trial and error. I'm not sure I ever understood why the brain had a battery slot, but it didn't seem to hinder my progress (or enjoyment) at all. If y'all have some games/art/music coming out elsewhere, I'd love to hear about it.

Omg this is so incredibly weird, love it :D i couldn't make it run again when he stops, how to do it?

@kwaku Glad you like it! And you made it to the end, but it's a bit unclear what to do there. so you can put your batteries in the sockets left of the TV, and then you should see the final animation:)

I like the style of this game. Simple and it works. Also the concept is very focused on the theme. Great job!

God that was weird. Well done. It took a long time to figure out how Jeff actually worked but I guess that was part of the point, excellent work!

Wonderfully bizarre! I couldn't decide if the audio was perfect or obnoxious...

Really cool idea, very creepy but well executed! I felt the heartbeat to be alittle too bassy but that might be my speakers. It took me a couple tires to figure out I had more than 1 battery as the instructions only hint at what to do. Good job on the game though and glad you managed to fix bugs :)

Great mechanic and audio, several times when I had just got to the building and a battery was on the heart-slot I died? Why was that? Loved it overall though.

Guess I did then! I went through the game again (with the little bonus) and got the same ending, I assume it just goes into a loop?

Random unsolicited thought of the day: this would translate nicely into co-op multiplayer, a la Lovers in a dangerous spacetime / Spaceteam style. Might be hard to come up with good mechanics for that, but I think it could work very well!

@leekanarchism you're right! we didn't have time to make the second go any different, but good job on reaching the end, twice!

and lovers in a dangerous spacetime was actually part of the inspiration that got us here. I think it would work well too, just a bit tricky if it would be online and all, but it would be cool

Simple but addictive mechanics, very good take on the theme, that main character sure is creepy! Very good work!
