Capture5.PNG

Mechanics:

Pesto will show you some ingredients to get from the forest, for 3 seconds. Remember well the quantities! After you found your ingredients, return back to Cooking Station 3 to get the next recipe. Careful! The next round will appear faster! If you fail you will start the rounds over!

ingredients are found in the following:

Bee Hive: Capture6.PNG

Maple Tree: Capture8.PNG

Flowers: Capture7.PNG

Controls:

  • move using WASD
  • press space to gather resources
  • press space at the station 3 to finish the recipe

Known Bugs:

  • Its hard to get around walls sometimes
  • Door is hard to pass through by moments
  • It is a lot easier to go behind object and from the left side of your character to collect items

Edits: - Made Collision a lot better (now they work 95% properly) - Camera now works properly

Awww yes, first to play. Dude, your art is amazing. Music was catchy, great start.

Here's the actual feedback, I do not intend to hurt your feelings; it's my experience.

So I noticed that collission detection is taking your player of its axis; it moves faster than the viewport. This makes picking up the ingredients very hard.
I managed to pick up some flowers and a few honeypots; but I couldn't pick up the stuff coming from the trees cause my character was out of place I think.

I really, really, loved your art style. Please talk to me when you want to join another Ludum Dare. I'm not joking. https://twitter.com/Bjeaurn

I like the visuals!

Two hints:

maybe hitbox for ingredients bigger. its sometimes hard to get

second: i had camera issues if i got to the end of the map (afterwards i couldnt see myself anymore)

Congrats! :)

I didn't manage to figure out what I was supposed to do , and I struggled with collecting stuff, but the graphics are pretty cool, would be cool to see a version with the small niggles on the collision ironed out.

The How-To-Play is written in the description (: Didn't have the time for a tutorial. I'll edit with collision and Camera fixed soon. Minor bug fixes incoming ^^

When I first saw the art and premise, I thought I would love it. However, there are so many things standing in the way that don't make it very enjoyable experience to me. Collissions still are weird. Camera doesn't move in expected ways. The game is clearly incomplete, with only one station being relevant. And the core idea is not all that fun either.

It has very nice graphics and audio, but in my eyes, a game should always have the gameplay first.

Congrats on completing the jam nonetheless!

The movement is way to fast. The graphics is good, and overall nice work I liked it :D

it took me a second, other than what's already been noted, I enjoyed the game. Catchy music and unique premise.

Loved the graphics and animations! had some issues with the collisions and movement but it was still fun to bounce around in nature
