I liked the challenge though and to explore the level.
The time limit felt way too tight - I don't think it really contributed anything other than *ostensibly* satisfying the theme. I grabbed the double jump powerup at the last possible second and I don't think I could've done it much faster, especially with the camera issues.
The main character looks pretty cool and has some nice animations. Did you make those assets yourselves, or are they from an asset pack or something?
I give the game 1/10 too much water
I felt the time limit was a bit punishing, and I had to give up as I just couldn't move and carefully control the camera fast enough to get up to the top in time. I liked the idea of making it exploratory, and discovering the path up to the top was fun, but I felt that worked against the time limit a bit. Would probably be nice to have a bit of a training area first before imposing a limit on the player.
Also FYI the timer doesn't seem to show on ultrawide monitors, which confused me for a bit!
Hope to see some more platforming in the future!
Perhaps an intro of some sort with some goal setting would be nice too.
But core concept is solid, gj.
