Okay, i am not good enough to get him befor he hits the red button, buts its a cool und unique gameplay.

Took me a while to figure out how to shoot. Couldn't hit the people though. I was too slow.

Loved the president and hospital graphics. The shooting mechanics were a little off for me, I had to shoot slightly above targets. The dialog was quite humorous and the game's premise was unique.

That's a unique style of gameplay! I love the vignette style post processing! :smile:

Found it really really hard to shoot during the introduction, and then had a 0% success rate when the actual game started - which is a shame, since it seems like there's something neat here! Gave you a 5 for mood. Hope there's a post-compo version!

Good game with potential, but I found it too hard, and the time you have to wait to try again is punishing. Shorter quotes would be good. The graphics are cool and the context is current. This is a really good reaction game (better on a touchscreen) but could benefit from gameplay appearing in a more timely manner. I found this game unique and fun! Well done!

Thx @terry, yes I'm aware this aiming thing is pretty hard and timer doesn't help at all. I'm currently trying to learn how to implement multiplaying, I'll probably try to make a 1vs1 version. But i won't do a post-compo of this, the difficulty of saving public hospital is the message, but I know it's frustrating.

Thx @emperor-eagle, to be honest I totally agree, I could say difficulty, frustrating waiting is done on purpose to serve the message and show who sadly has the power, but game wise, it is annyoing. (I didn't even know it works on touchscreen lol, thx construct)

@mlho7 Sorry, to clarify, it doesn't work on my touch screen (just tested) but if it did, it would likely be easier. Fair comment on the difficulty, it is frustrating waiting for the right thing to be done by those in power!

@emperor-eagle ah ok ahah, well thx construct anyway for letting me make games without speaking any computer language and thank you for the feedback, I'll try to think of this touchscreen thing on potential other games.

@mlho7 Cute game! Very original honestly, don't think I've seen anything like it. Cheh! I didn't quite understand the timing or if I was supposed to hit the dude, the buzzer, a specific part of the dude at first until I got a hit so maybe that could be clarified given the tight timing :) Also was trying to watch his great speeches so missed some opportunities lol.

Very original satiric idea. But as others said already it's very difficult.... But with even the tutorial being quite hard it still prepares you quite well for the actual gameplay... Is there a way to win by the way?

J'aime, et pas juste tirer des fléchettes sur mon président préféré. J'aime l'utilisation du thème, le gameplay est sympa, l'ambiance est cool et bien satirique (et réaliste) comme il faut. Je ne sais pas si c'est voulu mais le fait que le jeu soit difficile me donne encore plus envie de le cribler de fléchette (sans aucune violence, bien sûr) :)

A really fun game with some nice visuals and unique gameplay!

Could do with an example of where to correctly hit during the actual game, rather than the current "hit the text" intro. The little blow-dart guy isn't super visible within the game itself, so finding him and then executing a takedown in the very slim time frame is very difficult. Might want to balance that aspect out a little more. Humorous idea though!

@Vesper You're not wrong at all, yes tutorial is not clear enough, but I really didn't want to waste huge amount of time on it, so I made something really easy to implement that could help players a tiny bit, and not starting totally lost. Thanks for the ideas and the feedback.

A very nice game! The only problem I had with this game is that the mood at the beginning seemed very prehistoric with the music and character, and that was kind of interrupted with the modern president. Otherwise very funny and fun game!

Quite fun, with hint of Monty Python'ish humor, and really original mechanic (was a bit hard to aim at first but got used to it) and neat graphics and audio. Was the speaker rotoskoped? Or converted from a video using a tool? Very nice, and really something different! :thumbsup:

Thank you @zondarg, speaker was converted to frames with VirtualDub and then reworked frame by frame, the taking dart animation is a mix of speaker and a gif, that was annoying part ahah.
