Didn't found the solution but I like the innovation, the stuck on the loop and graphics :)

@rgilpt If you get confused, start in the first room, remember the environment, mark your way with torches, and don't trust the stairs. This tower is all riddled with loops...

Pretty good although its repetitive. The repetition fits the theme, but it comes at the cost of the game being less fun. The graphics are nice and the sounds are actually really atmospheric.

@samurguy Thanks for the tip, but what do you mean by repetition? All rooms are individual with their own environment pattern. Or are you talking about something else?

I kinda fell asleep, maybe faster running? More interactable objects. Not sure.

I liked the background noise a lot, it was very nice and ambient. Artwork was great too. I agree with others that some more variety to the environment, or less time spent walking between things would improve the overall experience, since it got a little repetitive and hard to tell whether you're making progress. I like the idea though and it has potential, great job!

After a few tries, i managed to escape but to be honest i didn't even know you can escape. I must admit i feel like it's more of a walking simulator and i thought that your job was just to walk thru the castle and light the fires. I cannot deny that it's not enjoyable. The artstyle combined with the confusing map and background music really create a mood in which you get sucked in quite easy.
The artistic side of the game is top notch. From the pixel art to the sounds and the feel of the game. Feeling permantly lost and not being sure if you should go up or down or go more to the right to find another staircase.
I thought the game was randomly generated but i am not quite sure about it. The only downside that i can think of is that there needs to be something more dynamic into the game, not just the time. If you replaced the time with a map that you can draw on, like you start with a blank paper and draw on it as you go further, or some kind of run, or who knows even an occasional hint i think the game would be even better.
Anyway, splendid game and hope the best for you. Really nice game, nice atmosphere and enjoyable sim. Cheers and good luck in your hobby!

You certainly made me feel lost! I think you really caught the mood of not being sure whether I took a wrong turn or not. I liked the art and the sound was great. I think the interaction of walking around could have felt more exciting to play. I wasn't able to escape though I could tell when I was looping, I just got so turned around! I think a little more guidance or hints to get the player started would be helpful.

The mood is great, as much as the take on the theme! I wasn't sure what to do at first, but then realised it when it was too late ^^' Maybe for a rythm question, adding a "run" feature and diminishing a little bit the timer ? The character is reaaaally slow imo!

@zepimppotatoe Thanks for your feedback! Your map idea is awesome! Based on the feedback, we realized that we need to influence the dynamics of the game and we will think about it. In our spare time, we want to expand the existing looping mechanics and allow players to collect their mazes.

@reef @guilloteam Thanks for the feedback guys! We will try to smooth out the flaws without losing the mood of the game.

the game had a really good moody feel to it with good ambient sounds and animations, but it felt lacking in more compelling gameplay.
