Save The Reactor by Jarvisp99
A Quantum Physicist works on a Process of mobilization of a Charge Particle under some "Artificial Conditions" created by him/her. Due to a technical fault, the charge particle has gone out of control and is stuck in a room filled with thousands of Tesla Reactors.
Now, The Charge Particle has an initial temp of 30℃ which increases the reactor's temp 50% each second. Each Reactor's maximum temperature, that it can withstand is 1500℃, that means he has got just "10 seconds" to change the position of the Particle (from one reactor to another reactor) such that a Reactor does not blow up.

The music synth helps to indicate the pressure of the time limit.
The cursive handwrite on the notebook was hard to read but I found out how to play.
The gameplay itself seems randomized, so sometimes I thought I was going to fail because of chance which does not feel good, but in the end I found a way out and always there were at least two or three gaps that lined up for every power cell.
Thanks for the fun.
Anyway, maybe next time build the game so people can play it quicker. Maybe even add a HTML5 version (you can host this for free in itch.io) :smile:
- Game is too loud, and there is no audio control.
- Game is difficult, because is random (holes, in loops are to small)
- Nice graphic
- As others have pointed out, the volume is indeed quite high.
- The game is quite hard, it's very difficult to time it right and it feels like the opening are too small. Maybe this game could have benefitted from different kind of rings which have different kind of openings (Like 4 way crosses, two sided, etc.) This would also need another movement system but maybe you can aim and shoot with the mouse or something like that.
- The audio itself is really nice!
- The menu's feel very well polished. I can see there is a lot of effort there!
Negative points:
- the game doesn't really evolve over time.
- It's all very complicated
- I don't feel like I have any real control over events,
- the shooting windows are very short and very complicated to see
Positive points:
- the game is very clean
- there is a very nice mood
- The understands itself very well.
Negative:
* Hard to see the openings and with the short time limit you just end up spamming until it goes
* Very random
Positive:
* Nice aesthetic
* Good music
* Fast paced gameplay
* Easy to understand what you're doing
I just realized that the best strategy is to keep spamming LMB and hope for the best. Timing it is too hard to pull off
With that said, I can see that a lot of effort went into making the art of this game, so that's a plus
Overall, a decent game, but needs some redesigning
Keep up he good work
As for the game, it felt a bit too random. Most of the time I ended up getting frustrated and just firing the particle in any direction. I think having a rhythm to the windows of opportunities between cells would have made this game amazing - particularly if it was in time with the music. Graphically the game was engaging and the music was spot on. Overall good effort, looking forward to playing your next jam entry!
Here are my feedback:
_Positive points
- Good music
- Nervous gameplay
- Cool animations
- Great graphics
_Negative points
- Missing SFX
- Really tight timing
Overall: gg for your work!
The presentation on the other hand, I really enjoyed. The music is very nice and you build a nice atmosphere. The game could use some more snappy SFX and VFX to make it feel more engaging but you're definitely headed in the right direction.
Overall, I enjoyed it, great job!
WAIT! WHY CAN'T I RATE SOUND!?
