A bit of feedback: Would be nice to be able to rotate in-spot to place arrow (or maybe it's just me), but I've figured out the controls quite fast anyway. Other than that, good job!

Really fun game! A little tricky to pick up at first but once the arrows are introduced the puzzles become fun and engaging. Nice job (and great sprites too!)

Best score ever by anyone ever: 295. By me! J/K about the score I stank but I finished it and loved every second. This had the perfect amount of longevity and interest for a jam and the perfect amount of potential to build into something even bigger some other time. Fantastic work! P.S. I'm a unity guy atm but I've always had my eye on this engine and now I want to use the Löve engine even more than ever before!

it would be nice to be able to change the direction of the arrow while standing on a tile, as it is hard to set up the arrows the way you want. when standing against a wall for example, but I think you made good use of the simple mechanics with some fun puzzle designs.

I loved this. The setting reminded me of one of my favorite puzzle games, Chu Chu Rocket, but the mechanics felt fresh. Charming art and presentation. WASD movement and being able to rotate the arrow in place would be nice polish, but great work!

Really nice idea and an impressive amount of content for a compo entry. Suffers a bit sometimes from the "do random stuff and win" kind of effect in these kinds of games, but a number of the levels required real thought and planning.

On macOS 10.13.1, I get “mouseherd is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash."

@gelisam Oh no! I'll look into that. In the meantime, you could install the LOVE framework from https://love2d.org/ and run **mouseherd.love** directly, without the app wrapper. Thank you for reporting the issue.

@mikoziq Thanks for the feedback! I definitely want to change up the control scheme a bit when I make a more polished version of the game. Thanks for playing!

@michael-parrish Thank you so much! <3

@fabdynamic Hehe, good job :-) Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback, and thanks for playing!

@swippydippydoo Thank you for the feedback!

@irwatts Yes, that was a major inspiration! Thank you for playing and for the kind words!

@dr-v Aha, thank you! I hope I made a good mix of levels -- some were just for fun, others are more puzzling. Thanks!

@thegreenman Thank you so much!

Cool! The idea of loop could change because of player is definitely a key shot for this.
Nice job!

I like this game; it has a great mechanic that has some surprising depth to it. It was really fun and not too hard, and the mice were cute! Great job!

Fun concept and well executed! Last level was particularly tricky for me, but got it in the end. Using the player's movement to keep score was a great idea, really encourages replaying your game to try and get a better score!

I was afraid most puzzles were going to be solved by just randomly placing myself in places... but was pleasantly surprised that suddenly the level of complexity ramped up quickly with a few simple elements. Very cute and awesome work! :mouse2: :cheese:

@arad-hamidsamiee Thank you! :)

@jonah Thanks!

@landypommel Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!

@fractalsunrise Thank you!

@eugenik Ah, thanks!!

@armytag Thank you so much! It's really more of a timer, but it only starts ticking when you start moving in each level. (And you can exploit that a little bit ... but not too much.)

@nikolai-shkurkin Haha, yes! Thank you! 🧀🐁

@shelvid Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! You're definitely right. I sadly ran out of time to work on the audio.

I thought I was clever on the first couple levels solving them without using arrows, then I realized that mechanic hadn't really been introduced yet ^_^. That was fun, made it through to the end with a score of 294. Wish there were more levels!
