cool idea, but it is fairly easy to play each round

I liked the idea of the game, and once I understood how to play it was pretty fun.
The rules could be taught to the player better, it was confusing to understand.

Interesting mechanic once you know how it works. I found it quite challenging! Nice job.

It played more like a puzzle card game than a deck builder to me. Any cards that allowed you to gain mana weren't working for me for some reason. Made it very difficult to proceed beyond just a few rounds. Great concept though!

@anticdope just to be sure could it have been because you hit max mana![mana.PNG](///raw/92b/32/z/28b79.png)... ow i see what you mean

I liked the concept ! It's interesting and quite original. But it doesn't feel like "You Start with nothing" to me. More like "You finish with nothing". And the game is really rough in terms of graphics (and there is no sound u_u). I Hope you'll be able to give this mechanic the looks it deserves :)

It was hard for me to understand what was going on.

Fun idea! Is it always possible to solve it no matter what three cards I choose or is it important to choose the right cards? I managed to solve no matter what :v:

It was an interesting idea but kinda hard to get at first, nice game though.

@gustav-andersson the first 3 choose you get are scripted so you can always solve them after it will be random cards, i found that it was to hard else and you could easily be unlocky so there were no way to win, also some of the cards are abit complex and people had a hard enough time to understand the color mecahince. ps sorry for the spelling errors :-)

Hey there, I clicked through your game but had a hard time understanding what was going on. Maybe try recording a video to guide people through the stages of the game? A card game is always harder to learn imo.

I have made a grave mistake, I have been unable to keep up with the spirit of nothingness in the face of this game, I had to give it 5 stars, my hand was forced (but seriously cool game)

Took a while to understand the full rules of the game but eventually clicked. Really fun card puzzler but yes a good tutorial would do wonders for this game!

It took a while to get the hang of it, and even then I am not sure I totally get it. Seems like a neat idea, I think it just needs better explanation and visuals.

I don't feel like I understand this game. The tutorial (thank you for making an effort) seems confusing and the phrasing of things aren't easy to read. There are also a number of spelling errors in the copy throughout. Other users claim to have seen some glint of a 'neat idea' here, but I was unable to see this in my number of attempts to play. The game seems to complex for you to properly articulate.

Also, I hope you don't find this offensive, but having seen your responses to comments here, you seem to generally have trouble communicating what it is you mean. I hope you take the time to work on this, as it would greatly improve your work, but also aid in making the game more accessible for all users. Accessibility is key in any project/product but even more essential in a game jam of this scale, where your submission is one of many thousands. Many users will simply not have the patience to make repeated attempts at simply learning how to play. I apologise if you think this is overly harsh, but I feel it is necessary constructive critique of your submission.

@solwllms thanks for the criticism, i have taken note, it seems my game was to complicated for a game jam also i think i will make a video tutorial next time.

The game concept is very good but each time i play a "gain x amount of mana" card it doesn't work even if i'm not at 5/5. Great game.

I was very interested in the idea, but, as another commenter pointed out, its much more of a single player puzzle card game-or at least felt like one (kinda like solitare)-instead of a deck builder.
